A classic Indian dish this one - my absolute favourite. i had no idea it was that easy to make, just have to make sure you've got all the spices in the larder.

Gosh, TV chef using frozen spinach ! At least the garlic was fresh, you can get that frozen in cubes now. But there's nothing like the stink of garlicy fingers for hours afterwards.

Sometimes you have no choice - but it tastes just as good. If you don't tell your dinner guests they still congratulate you afterwards.

veggies are veggies at long as they are frozen properly there is basically no difference

@@mullaoslo in many cases frozen veggies are even better than fresh. They've been frozen when at peak ripeness, as opposed to many vegetables which are picked when they're not quite ready so they'll survive travel and packaging better.

so replace the frozen spinach with fresh.... I don't really get the complaint here. That said, this is quite different than the Saag we make, I'll give this recipe a go sometime.
