Smoked chicken thighs are by far one of my bbq favourites, great video! Where did buy the non-brioche st pierre buns? All the st pierre buns/rolls I've seen have always been brioche. Thanks :)

Looks real good - will have to give it a go sometime - might have to try some direct heat on my wsm. That chud box looks nice. Is it already rusting there on the handle and a few other places? Or did your rub miss the target?

Great video and keep them coming. I just did some direct heat pork ribs and the wife won’t go back to smoked now. Best of luck and be safe

Lovely Stuff, as usual!!! As a KCBS Judge; My favourite round is definitely Chicken, as it is most often than not, Bone In and Skin On Thighs that have been cooked with an expertise and nuance that just compliments, perfectly, the Chicken and the Seasonings used.

I used my smoker 4 times last summer. I used my kettle bbq 2 or 3 times a week! Whilst I love a slow smoke, thighs/wings/pork loin (offset but hot!) were the crowd favourites

Looks great, I will definitely be doing this one! What are the tongs you have there? They look ace
@Mumper0076 ай бұрын
I have the same question! Are those just some 12” tweezers?
@WilsonsBBQ6 ай бұрын
They’re cooking tweezers/ garnish tongs/ precision tongs. Many names - but you’ll find them! Much easier and less clunky when handling food than proper tongs.

Weird one, the charcoal chimney starter leaves behind white ash on the grill and you place the chicken thighs onto it, does this affect the flavour or texture?
@WilsonsBBQ6 ай бұрын
It’s not the chimney itself, it’s just the ashes leftover from the natural wood fire lighter. Nothing bad or anything that effects flavour.
