1 lb chicken tenders
oil
salt to taste
black pepper to taste
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp cajun seasoning "Cooking With Tammy" preferred
1 tsp creole seasoning "Cooking With Tammy" preferred
1 tsp paprika
1/4 cup butter
2 tbsp garlic minced
1/2 cup white wine or sub. with broth
1 1/2 cups rice
3 cups chicken broth or 1/2 tbsp bouillon powder added to 3 cups of water
parsley freshly chopped garnish
1/2 cup parmesan cheese freshly grated
Add a small drizzle of oil to the chicken.
Season the chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, cajun, creole seasoning, and paprika.
Add a small amount of oil to a skillet along with 1 tbsp of butter.
Saute chicken tenders until thoroughly cooked through. Remove and set aside.
Using the same skillet add the remaining butter and minced garlic. Stir to combine. Cook the garlic until fragrant.
Add white wine and combine.
Add chicken broth and combine, add pre-washed rice, and stir.
Cover with a lid and cook the rice as directed or until tender. During the last 2 minutes of the cooking process add the chicken and combine.
Garnish with parsley and parmesan cheese.
