Yes Frank! My mom told me the same thing! My mom told me “Don’t start a fight but, you finish it!” She put me in karate when I was in 1st grade. I was bullied but never twice, by the same person. As an adult , it’s not the same. You have to conduct yourself differently. I just cut people off, block them, and move on - now. My dad was Italian and the whole don’t start a fight but finish it is so true. My dad got in tons of fights when he was younger but people learned not to mess with him. If you did experience that you're entitled to make that comment.
