Emily, you may have seen my description of My Sketchup Customer Service nightmare. I have been looking for a better solution since. Questions: Is Chief Architect adaptable to Auto Cad, can I use this for Bims, Geographic(GLS) placement, use Jpeg images, print plans? Thanks

Hello Gobuilditbetter, thank you for your interest in Chief Architect Software! Chief Architect Premier is BIM software and supports the import and export of .dwg and .dxf CAD files. You can import terrain data in the form of a survey file or GPS file, or can manually create your terrain using the elevation tools in the software. You're able to import jpeg images to trace over, or as a backdrop to design in front of. Premier supports a full set of construction plans at 24x36 or larger prints. Hello, thank you for your question. You can change your roof materials by clicking Build>Roof>Build Roof. In the Materials panel, you can change the material that your roof is built with.
