Pretty much, yeah. 2 clones, completely identical, one clone is evil and another is good. Big Boss basically
@GrimmShadowsII7 жыл бұрын
Except Big Boss technically had 10 clones or something the first batch all but 2 were killed so those two, Solid and Liquid, would be stronger then later on Solidus clone was made. You can also compare Fargo to the Boss as like her pretty much everything that happens is based on interpretations of ideas left behind by them.

I know of him, but I didn't know he had told Dredd that the dictatorship of the Judges was wrong. That kind of weakens Dredd's epiphany in the beginning of Necropolis.

Templar Warrior the Adeptus Arbites, correct.
@thestabbybrit47986 жыл бұрын
To be fair, Judge Dredd wasn't as fleshed out, and in some ways was quite different tonally when 40k emerged. However, 2000AD in general was an influence. Indeed, the reason the name "Warhammer 40,000" was used at all is because the original name, Rogue Trader was too similar to Rogue Trooper, a popular 2000AD story series.
@enokdnb73883 жыл бұрын
@@thestabbybrit4798 That and GW made a Dredd RPG Table Top, along with Dredd Minatures which were repackaged for Warhammer 40k due to losing the license. 2000AD is a revolutionary comic line for real. There is quite anything like them out there

I wonder what he was like in judge deaths universe
@MrHReviews7 жыл бұрын
+TheBd62 it's not a direct parallel universe so there might not have been one. It's a different dimension.
@GrimmShadowsII7 жыл бұрын
There was probably a rough equivalent as they did have Judges although they were stricter according to the story Judge death told that reporter.
@cityman23126 жыл бұрын
From Judge Death - Boyhood of a Superfiend, it is clear that the Deadworld system was akin to that of twentieth century totalitarian rule. Only men could be judges, and they used the death penalty very freely. Judge Death pointed out that Deadworld never had any concept of the sanctity of life (of course, he thought that meant they had been more enlightened than Megacity). The Megacity Judges do a lot of collateral damage, but rarely use the death penalty in an official context.

The white color is usually rookie judges with black and blue usually being the result of the colorist using different tones. Not sure about green and red, possible Irish or soviet/Chinese/Japanese judges.

So, I dont understand, the president still exists a position within americas legal system? How does the JD, relate to them? Are they hostile to each other, or is one in charge of the other? I thought the JD was the final law, for all cities on the earth.

no, they took control completely, when they were first created they were a police force as I mention, it wasn't until the atomic wars happened they seized control due to it being completely insane

It might have been non canon but one comic said or showed his face was scarred and/or burned. So while his face probably looked like Fargo's over the years it may have gotten messed up.
@muzakkiller98207 жыл бұрын
That image is non canon. When it was shown they had not yet stated Fargo was Dredds clone father, just he had been cloned. When that was revealed Fargo was then drawn to resemble Dredd and Rico, his face was never shown from then on.

Does Dredd know that he's a clone?
@Wavemaninawe6 жыл бұрын
Yes. He has known for most of his life and doesnt really care. Cadets are taken in at an early age... 5 i believe. But theyre still allowed to maintain some contact with their families. Dredd never had a family. He was vat grown in a lab and raised within the Department. Which could explain why he is so detached from other people. It took him decades to admit that he had feelings for Judge Anderson and viewed her as a friend, rather than an annoyance like he usually claimed.
