37:08 Number of cases does not mean trust, it means hope, and courts many times shatter that hope by running cases for decades, more people buy lottery tickets than those who file court cases does not mean they all trust that everyone trust lottery, its just hope that they can win, so CJI is just giving twisted example here, same with people who buy train tickets even after accidents happening every day, people using bridges even when they fall every day, its not because of trust, people have no other choice, and many times advocates to earn money tell people to file cases, 99% cases are forever pending

Respected honorable chief justice, now it is very much required to look the situation of West Bengal Judiciary System where many lawyers and few judges are definitely not doing Justice. there is evidence of corruption and common people are not getting Justice at present. judiciary almost under the control of specific political groups and criminals. If such type of Immortal activities by judiciary continue then why scientists and engineers will not follow the same path to safeguard their identity and Society at Large. West Bengal judiciary is totally limping and High Court also partially breakdown. I hope honorable Justice chandrachur will take the appropriate action urgently to save the society and human kind. Why can't our Indian suprem court pass clear and cogent ruling on every section of criminal laws, which will bind all the lower courts, including High Courts, in delivering judgment and orders. Why do some judges act according to their whims and fancies in the name of facts and circumstances. Favourism is one of the key issue in indian judiciary.

Because the facts and circumstances of each case is different and there is need to apply judicial mind . If there are strict guidelines how can judges/magistrate will apply their judicial mind. And in procedural law procedure is handmaiden of justice not its jealous mistress.

80 % cases facts and circumstances are same except time, place and number of alleged offenders, there is no need to apply judicial mind much except writting a prudent judgment or order in line with Apex court binding ruling on a question of fact and question of law. Let the Apex court clearfy when or when not to apply, then the chances of Favourism can be minimized, and it would also be helpful in speedy disposal of the case. Further, the court may take the help of AI to understand and summarize the entire pleading, including the question of law and question of fact presented before the Hon'ble court to arrive on an judgment or order. These steps probably help in eliminating prejudices or Favourism, even corruption.

CJI should deliver judgements he talks about in the right time and it should be taken to a logical end. His recent judgement on electrol bonds came very late and when it came nothing could be done to the wrongdoers. It only served entertainment value to media and judicial community and the elite educated. Nothing was there in it for the common man

If India could have a great persion like DY Chandrachud as Prime Minister of India, it would a blessing. But, do you think that the Chief Justice of India, DY Chandrachud would ever contest in a General Election. Mr. Jai Shankar never contested in an election. He was picked up be Modi on account of his diplomatic experience in different countries. It would be nice if any winning party in General Election would pick up Mr. DY Chandrachud after his retirement and place him in the position of Prime Minister of India. There is every possibility to contest in any MP Constituency to fulfil the formality within 6 months of taking up the position of PM. BUT will DY Chandrachud ever accept such an offer even if he is preferred for the position of PM. It is unlikely that he will. That is the standard of his credibility. A big salute to our CJI, DY Chandrachud. ❤️🙏🇮🇳❤️

Nowadays in Calcutta High Court, all judges are not using live streaming due to some or otter reason(s). Some one need to investigate why such selective for live-streaming and what is the reason(s) behind such selective live broadcasting. Specially few judges’ courtrooms never goes on live-streaming. Thanks.

It takes 15-20 years for justicing. Justice delayed is justice denied. The punishment in terms of fine, is far far less. The actual fees of advocates is not at all a consideration. Lakhs of cases pending, Courts remain closed for yearly vacation. No one wants to find out a way to restrict cases which are without any basis and meant to harass only. Wild card decision was applied once in Assam considering the verdicts of cases of similar nature. Justicing is beyond the means upto upper middle class. Are we heading for judicial anarchy as present practices seem justice unachievable in terms of time and expenditure. Will the new Samhita will be a boon to common man?

CJI doesn't owe an explanation to anyone. Except to give justice based on evidence or law. Expect impartiality in hearing petitions and not taking sides for political parties. But CJI gives to many media interviews
