Chief Midegah's Life Story! It's 'almost' unbelievable!

This is Episode One-Hundred Fifty-Five ... "Dispelling the Accusatory Fog!" #30. This video is Marin Braden hosting Chief David Midegah who tells his "Life's Story" from his great grandparents to his grandparents from his birth all the way up to today. David holds nothing back. It is one of the most fascinating life stories I have even heard, and I think you will find it just as fascinating as I did.
I want to thank you David, for your 'kindness' in allowing me this privilege of having you tell your life story for my audience, and for being vulnerable and authentic with your life story and sharing such intimate experiences that changed and directed the course of your life. I, for one, am grateful that you survived the many life threatening events that should have and could have taken you from this side of the veil to the other side of the veil. we're the benefactors of those divine interventions. Good morning to those of you who check on this videos comment string. I had a lovely member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (A sister member) who sent me a wonderful, heartfelt letter and I got her permission to post it for all of us to reflect on. Here it is: Dear Brother Braden, Thank you for your interviews with Chief Midegah. I just watched your "Withhold judgement" interview with Shane Baldwin. I consider Chief Midegah to be a brother. I have watched many of his interviews, and also his angry videos. It hurts my heart to think that members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, of which I am a faithful member, would send emails attacking Chief Midegah, or denying his right to tell his story. I have prayed much about and for Chief Midegah and his peaceful goals. My perception is that he is an honest man. I have wept more than once, watching him and listening to his story. I feel that we have much to learn from him, and his vision of the Tee Pee resonates strongly with me. My reason for tracking down your email and writing to you is to ask you to please suggest to Chief Midegah that those who wrote the hundreds of emails that upset him so much, may not even be members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They may be former, or anti-members of the Church, or merely trolls sent by Satan to destroy the hope of peace and unity among our peoples. They can claim to be anything or anyone in an email. Nobody is proving their identities. Those who have been commissioned by the adversary (The Accuser of the Brethren I call him) to destroy the House of Israel would see Chief Midegah's presentations as a prime opportunity to cause division and contention. He was not attacked for meeting with Jewish rabbis, nor with other Christian groups, because that did not bring him into the sights of the anti-Mormon crowd, who seem to work full time to create more dissention, division, and 'accusatory fog' around the Lord's Restored Church. The Lamanites waged war against the people of Limhi, because they believed them to be guilty of stealing their daughters. Fortunately, they came to understand that it was the wicked priests of king Noah who had kidnapped those young women, so they were pacified and went home. Serious consequences result when people who do not have all the facts leap to conclusions - especially when that leap results in anger and contention. Gideon asked Limhi, "And are not they the ones who have stolen the daughters of the Lamanites"?, referring to king Noah's priests. I ask, "And are not they the ones who have criticized Chief Midegah?", referring to Satan's minions who do their utmost to destroy The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints AND who want to prevent Chief Midegah's people from rising up and taking their rightful place at the table. This is the end of her letter to me. I felt it was an honest, authentic expression that should give each of us pause and consider not only our ways, but consider who might be at the root of hateful comments and judgments that has been and is still being directed towards Chief David Midegah. Again, let us withhold judgment and let things unfold, for surely the Lord's words will be fulfilled regarding this special branch of the House of Israel, and He will keep his promises to restore them and give them their promised blessings, even the land of their inheritance. Chief Midegah. Thank you so much for being humble and vulnerable enough to share your life journey with us. I find some people think that being righteous means we life perfect lives in conformity with how things "should be," but the truth is that there are so many people who have suffered great trauma or abuse, who have stumbled and made mistakes, or who have struggled with difficult challenges who have learned to appreciate the great love, mercy, and kindness of Jesus Christ. And they are often better equipped to help those who are struggling than those who have led less difficult lives. God empowers us through humility and trust in him, not through our own righteousness, which is really "self-righteousness." All of us are in need of repentenence and reliance of God. May God continue to guide you and bless you that through his grace you may succeed in what he is calling you to do.

Hello Steven ... Thanks for watching and leaving a wonderful, wise message. I often think about the analogy of the "Rock Polisher" machine. Agate semi-precious stones that are raw, are placed in this Polishing machine where it tumbles and tumbles as other stones are put in there too. then a type of granular stuff is put in with a special liquid and then a fine polishing liquid is put in last, and out comes a beautiful, polished stone. Life in this world is much like this polishing machine. David is someone who God loves and is polishing him to become a precious, polished stone, just as he's been doing with each of us. God bless.

I cried and cried and cried for what he and his brother went through as children. It helped me cry( which I have a hard time doing) for my own abuse. I identified with the body being dismembered. I saw that quite often from the age of 3 on up till I escaped ritual abuse and daily sexual abuse I went through like his poor brother. This helps me to understand one of his brother's challenges better. I just feel so much love for his brother who is probably suffering still. David says something's are too painful to talk about of course. I wish him more peace also! But he was spared much. Heavenly Father got me out of the sexual trafficking alive and has helped us all to heal to the extent we have is a miracle! What a wonderful man David turned out to be. I followed a horrible life till I joined the church. That saved my life. I want to help others also if I'm able to. I want to bring evidence forth to the public of these horrific things that happen to millions of other children of all races every day worldwide. If I can help or support one person on their heading journey. I'm educating myself and feel if I do then Heavenly Father will lead someone to me that I may help out at the least support them they're journey!

Wow! I think you're gonna win a lot of hearts with that David. I've prayed a lot about you, outside and inside the temple asking God why this guy has the attention of so many, including me, and whether it's a good or bad thing. I've been very cautious especially when it comes to the question of Priesthood and Authority, and I still am. I mean God said to be careful of false prophets in the last days..., but I feel I have received an answer to my prayers, that I am not to worry, that something good is truly happening, that God's hand is in it, and that you are playing an important part in it. So I'll keep praying, but for you and your people this time, our people.

Glory Hallelujah! Praise God in the highest! He is raising the remnant of Joseph and we Ephraimite-Gentiles can aid them even in our own day as Isaiah has taught us is our calling. We LDS will not build, but will ASSIST, the remnant of Joseph (of Egypt) and Lehi’s descendants as they build Zion on this continent which is their inheritance. And thus we LDS will be worthy to be included in the House of Israel, which we are not so named at this time. (But what does that matter?) I love David and everything he's ever said thus far!! I've made it a goal to try to watch & listen to every channel he's been on, since he surfaced a month or more ago... And what a remarkable human being!! He's been to a couple of significant places during his life that I have connections to... On Lewiston, Idaho, where my eldest sister has lived for the past 55 years, and he said his first daughter was born in Kailua, Hawaii.... My eldest daughter lives there in now! I'm curious if his daughter is still living over there and what her name is although actually, my daughter is about the same age as David!! She was born in 78.😁

Man! I can relate to so many things that parallel David's life. Even going to 3 schools in one year as we dodged a broken marriage. I spent many day's and even weeks alone out in the wild. I also worked in the bush. The moose story blows me away. I've never befriended a moose but I did a wild marten. About 35 years ago I was working in old logging slash on Vancouver Island. The area was littered with west coast marten. Every cut block had a couple. The little vermin were a pest. You had to keep your windows up in the trucks or they would climb in from the side mirrors and rummage your lunches. In one area I actually made friends with one in about three days of coaxing it with camp food. I saw the same one daily at the truck for lunch for about three weeks and began to experiment with treats for him. I say him cause I named it Dean Martin. LOL. It started out with me tossing pieces of meat across the road to it which it was eating to a point then would snub it when had enough, I guess. Within a week I had it so it would climb on my legs when sitting down and would even lick butterscotch or vanilla pudding off a spoon. Chocolate ... Nope. Once it climbed into the front pouch of my heavy wool Indian sweater and had a tug -o-war with a pear I was holding back while making a fat belly. LOL. Never did I touch him as they have teeth like a small dog and are constantly grunting & snorting like a Tasmanian Devil when excited and beady black eyes you cannot read. Funny it liked and would take a pear or two but not apples or any other fruit I offered. Weird…. It would NOT eat salmon. That surprised me. It got to the point where around the same time of day, 10-11, it would show up at my feet and off we’d go to the pickup. After three weeks I moved to a new area and there were marten but none would befriend me at all.

David, my family came from the LaPoint-Vernal Indian community although we are not native. Brigham sent us out there. I remember my grandmother feeding so many hungry people over many years always having eggs and milk piled high by the back door for the needy. My great grandmother was the midwife of this territory never losing a mother or a baby. She incubated my preemie twin brother and sister in a chicken coop because the Dr. said they would die and left. She a was an amazing and caring saint even when she was threatened.

But when Chief Midegah spoke of building a temple, that is not God’s way, in God’s order the prophet is the only one who holds keys and authority to announce construction of temples, point blank period. I’m saying this in love- I’m sure he has many good things about him, and I have love for this brother-just pointing out that particular notion is wrong and I hope people aren’t deceived into thinking he can actually do that.

As I said on one of my videos with him, I am goong to let things unfold before I make any judgements. I haven't watched too many of the Zon Media videos with David of late, but if I am not mistaken, there is a bit of a conflict going on right now with them, but I am not sure nor am I sure of what it is about if there is one. My hope of course, is that David focusses on keeping his covenants as he works to bless his people, and not be critical of the Brethren. But, we shall see. Until then, I wish you continued success. He said he was taken by his branch president to the temple when he was an Aaronic Priesthood holder and there with the San Diego Temple where with President Clark was given the Melchizadek Priesthood and then taken through the temple. This is not how the priesthood is given. To receive the Melchizedek Priesthood, a man must first be interviewed by his Bishop and then his Stake President and then the Stake President then gives authorization for that man to be given the priesthood. Further doing research, there was no President 'Clark" who was ever a president of the San Diego Temple. This part of his story does not add up....

I would agree that "this" is not 'normally' how the Priesthood is given to our prospective elders. There's even the process of presenting young men to the Stake membership to show their sustaining vote for them to receive the Melchizedek Priesthood. Sometimes due to certain circumstances that process is one of reification. I will be attending the conference in Wisconsin come the end of September and will be seeing David in person at that time and I can ask him about this and will get back to you what I find out. MCRD Branch President Vic Bipperston took me, San Diego Temple President David Rex Clark gave me the Melchezedik Priesthood in the temple. It is what it is. Attacking me only confirms why Indians struggle with LDS, they are never enough. This comes even though I am also a Smith, Taylor and Millett. Always LDS attacking. No Christian groups attack me, No Jewish groups attack me.

@@MLBPublishing2023 Pardon, I posted "Bookmark" in the more literal sense of the word/usage. I've been watching this in chunks over the last 2 or 3 days, but I can't always keep the tab open. Chief Brother Midegah is a man of excellent character from what I can tell. I was introduced to videos about him in a way where I felt inundated with information that I had little knowledge of in regards to a passionate video he'd recorded. I'm sure that as I finish this video, and find out more, that more context will come on the particulars. My gut tells me he is a righteous man because of how the anti-mormons are mocking and laying into him, instead of trying to recruit him for their own devious ends. Don't worry, everyone on the Ward Radio Discord are circling the wagons in his defense and time + the Spirit will clarify the particulars.
