I was homeless, did drugs, went into prison, where I got to know God. He changed my life. Now I have a home, a Husband and a lovely daughter (Jessica), and a stream of income that gets me $44,000 Every month. Plus a new identity - a child of God. Hallelujah!!!

Its true that, commanding division twice is unprecedented. Like the Late Gen T.A. Labadja, my father the late AVM G Y. Kontagora was AOC twice first as AOC Logistics Command, Ikeja and AOC Training Command, Kaduna

@Kevin-tv8ew That was a Nigerian who died while serving his country. He deserved some insurance and honour to have lived a contributory life to the existence of this country and as such the government owe us the duty to let us know what happened. This gesture would encourage patriotism as other younger generation will see the man's struggle and learn. That was the coas and his health status is not supposed to be a mystery. He was protecting all of us and we owe him a duty to know why he suddenly expired. Imagine that the.night before his death, another person was already being decorated to replace him in rank and position, as if the government only used him when he was healthy and dumped him even before his Last breath. We need to change the way things are done in this country.We need a culture that will inspire patriotism in this country.

@@AdamHiro-gs8uy Sadly, Nigeria lacks a transparency (and thus, accountability) culture. Ex-President Buhari and several state governors (perhaps the most infamous being Sullivan Chime of Enugu State) would go on medical tourism for months and Nigerian taxpayers who are footing their bills are left in the dark, with no clue whatsoever, what’s wrong with them (including if they’re fit to continue in office).

They probably will not disclose the exact nature of his illness before he passed on. However, there is no longer such thing as GOOD MEDICAL ATTENTION in Nigeria. This days, people die unnecessarily from very minor ailments due to lack of medical attention provided by the government . That very much explains why ALL THE RICH CRIMINALS AND THEIR FAMILIES RUN OVERSEAS FOR MEDICAL ATTENTION WHEN THEY HAVE SOMETHING SIMPLE AS CATHAR . Very shameful indeed. May his soul rest in peace.

RIP… But sadly we don’t have a transparency DNA in Nigeria. I can understand patients’ privacy but why lie for months that he’s on holidays and there’s nothing wrong with him. That’s why nobody trusts the government in Nigeria. If the US President has a pimple, even us here in Nigeria will hear all about it, but Buhari went on medical tourism for about 6 months on our taxpayers money and till today Nigerian citizens have no clue whatsoever why. What if his medical problem was mental and not physical? We’ll be saddled with a mad man in Aso Rock!

So the earlier story about the man hailment was true, while the government kept lieing he was on leave. Nations are built on trust, when the people are made to doubt the government over and over again, it breaches the essence of nationhood

The earlier story was a lie. The 1st story was that the is dead. Which is not true. The man just dead.
@KayodeOluwagbenga
@KayodeOluwagbenga 12 күн бұрын
@HassanTaiwo-r7r okay, the government could simply debunk the death story, and set the records straight that he was attending to his health. Instead of a straight lie that he was just on leave.

@@HassanTaiwo-r7r trying so hard to convince me with a lie. Lagbaja is human, anyone could have fallen sick and died. The point is the Nigerian government needs to work on the trust deficit between it and the people it leads. And situations like this avails them an opportunity to do so. Nothing was said about a medical leave during Lagbaja's last days, and in fact the narrative was that he is fine and will be back in office soon and the director of policy was briefing him in-line with AFN SOP.
