And seriously...this story WAS about gold (gold bricks & the silver-in the book, the ruby slippers were silver!). It was about money & those in power how where not what we thought! The author was interviewed about his book in I think 1938?? & they printed what he said! Omg! I had not heard this version! 😳 And since most teachers learned of this & he taught history, he would know, for sure! What a truly great man! Surely...the problem was in the WEST! As in those who thought they could conquer! I had never heard that these flying monkeys represented the Natives! WOW! Now it’s seems it’s just about all over...sad for all peoples, esp those in power, as no one escapes what they plant-someday they will reap an awful harvest! We app reap what we sow! I can only imagine how wonderful it must have been to live in harmony w/all of nature & all people! I wish I could experience it as it was! How Idyllic...wonderful & beautiful! ♥️🌲🌳🌴🌵
