Corbyn said of British Zionist Jews, ‘having lived in this country a very long time, probably all their lives, they don’t understand English irony either.’ (You can find the video on this site.) Would it be racist if he had said this of a black Englishman?

its because Marxism is a global conspiracy theory, and for some Marxists its not a great stretch to believe in a global Jewish conspiracy theory, which is one of the pillars of antisemitism. The other pillar of antisemitism is rabid sectarianism a quality which many muslim members of the Labour party have in spades. Corbyn is not antisemitic but he struggles to control a small but vocal minority of marxist antisemites. Corbyn manifesto is brilliant so on balance he the right man for PM.

Emily Pugh The 9 Most Serious Signs of Anti-Semitism in Corbyn’s Labour Party The evidence against Corbyn’s Labour Party’s handling of anti-semitism. Tom Williams Tom Williams Oct 30 · 3 min read Labour has become one of only two party’s (along side the far-right BNP) to be investigated by the Equality and Human Rights Commission. The investigation was caused by the party’s anti-semitism crisis. [1] Jeremy Corbyn laid a wreath in a ceremony for the terrorists behind the Munich massacre. Corbyn said the wreath was laid for those “killed in Paris in 1992”, a reference to Atef Bseiso, who’s widely acknowledged as “masterminding the murder of 11 Israeli athletes at the 1972 Olympics in Munich” [2] Jeremy Corbyn is a patron of the Palestine Solidarity Campaign which supports the BDS movement. The BDS movement seeks to delegitimise Israel’s existence as a homeland for the Jewish people and has been labelled by the Anti-Defamation League as ‘antisemitic’ [3] [4] Jeremy Corbyn has been a contributor to the far-left ‘Morning Star’ newspaper - which has a troubling record on antisemitism. The paper was forced to apologise for shifting blame for antisemitism on to Israel, having said, “rising anti-semitism cannot be tackled without addressing Israel’s crimes”. Moreover, the paper used anti-semitic tropes about Jewish people being rich and greedy, saying that the “Palestinian cause” was being “traduced into oblivion” by “wealthy and powerful circles” [5] [6] In 2012, Corbyn argued against the removal of a mural that was anti-semitic. The mural showed Jewish bankers using a monopoly board placed on the backs of workers. The board had a pile of money painted on it, while the bankers had hooked noses (a well-known anti-semitic trope) and, the symbol associated with the Illuminati was in the background. The mural engaged in multiple anti-Jewish dog whistles, mainly that the Jewish people are greedy, secretive and evil. Corbyn said - regarding the painter and the threat of removal of the mural - , “You are in good company. Rockerfeller [sic] destroyed Diego Viera’s [sic] mural because it includes a picture of Lenin.” [7] [8] In 2019, Corbyn-loyalist, Chris Williamson (MP) dismissed anti-semitism fears, saying Labour “does not have any form of particular problem with anti-semitism” and, said the party had been “too apologetic” when it came to anti-semitism. In 2018, he described the expelling and suspensions of party members for anti-semitism as being “ridiculous” and defended Ken Livingstone; who’d argued in 2016 that Hitler didn’t originally intend to kill millions of Jewish people and who argued that MP Naz Shah hadn’t been anti-semitic when posting ‘#Apartheid Israel’ on Facebook, next to a quote comparing Israeli government actions to actions of the Nazi’s. The quote said, “Never forget that everything Hitler did in Germany was legal”. Corbyn said of Williamson in 2019, he is “a very good, very effective Labour MP… he is not anti-semitic in any way” [9][10][11][12] [13] In July 2018, Labour refused to adopt in full the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance’s (IHRA) definition of anti-semitism. Four examples of anti-semitism in the IHRA’s definition were left out of Labour’s. These were; the comparison of Israeli policies to those of the Nazi’s, requiring higher standards of Israel than other countries, claiming Israel’s existence is racist and accusing Jewish people of being more loyal to Israel than their home country. Only after months of pressure would Labour be forced to add these examples to their definition. [14] [15] The vast majority of Jewish people are opposed to Jeremy Corbyn. Just 7% of Jewish people polled said they’d consider supporting Corbyn’s Labour Party, while 42% said they could vote Labour if the party had a different leader. And, while polling suggests most Jewish people supported the UK’s continued EU membership, 78% said they would rather a no-deal Brexit over Corbyn becoming PM. Moreover, 40% of Jewish people polled said they would consider leaving the UK if the Labour leader (Corbyn) became PM, up from 11% in 2015 [16] [17] Former Labour MP Luciana Berger was made to feel as though she had no choice but to resign from the party after receiving sustained anti-semitic abuse from Labour members for her opposition to Jeremy Corbyn. Six people were convicted for making anti-semitic threats against her and she described the party as “institutionally anti-semitic” and, said there was “volume and toxicity” in the abuse she received from the left. She also tweeted some of the blatantly offensive abuse she gets online, see source 19. [18] [19]

This doesn't seem to be reported anywhere but in the Independent so I shall notify people here: Within the Tory Manifesto, on page 48, is contained their plans on altering the relationship between the Legislative, Executive and Court branches of democracy. They say that they wish to "update" the system so that the courts cannot be used to "conduct politics by other means" and "cause needless delay." They also wish to set up a "democracy commission" to review the royal prerogative among other powers over parliament. They say they will "keep the balance between individual rights and an overbearing state, *whilst recognising national security and counter-terrorism is critical.*" Under the auspices of "Freedom of Speech" they also seek to repeal part of Leveson one, specifically section 40 of the courts and crime act "2014" (its actually 2013 as far as I can tell). This means that an unregulated newspaper can now openly slander anyone or lie and doesn't have to opt in to a suitable press regulator in order to avoid paying legal costs. Surprised this isn't being reported on, although it is shrouded in Orwellian doublespeak (for example they repeatedly use the word 'update' in place of 'scrap'). They also express their desire to change political boundaries (i.e. Gerrymander) There is more at stake in this election than just Brexit or the NHS now. If Boris Johnson's conservatives win then their actions would prove corrosive to democracy in the UK.

The courts have been shamelessly abused to push political agendas recently, and those days are about to end. The prerogative power to call a general election has recently been altered by the fixed parliament act to prevent that happening and it needs restored to avoid a zombie parliament such as the one we have just had. The supreme court is only a decade old, formed in the rancid brain of Tony Blair, and has seriously overstepped into politics, it needs to be reigned in. Anti democratic lefties brought this all about, and now it has to be restored to how it was prior to their abuse of the system. Suck it up buttercup.

He should have just said at the very start that he IS critical of Israel and it's treatment of Palestinians, but that does NOT make me anti Jewish. He fell into the trap again tonight with Andrew Neil. Neil started talking about comments he had made about Zionism. That was a perfect opportunity to highlight that Zionism and being Jewish are two different things, but no, he comes out with same old line.... Underlying this groundless accusation of anti-semitism in the Labour Party are two factors not generally recognized. First and MOST important is the successful "Entryism" by islamists and less importantly sympathy for the Palestinian cause. A story: There was once a man called Jeremy Corbyn. Always something of an underdog, but a resolutely principled man. At the beginning of his shadow political career, Jeremy was derided as a sandal wearing hippy lefty. A nice enough chap, but a bit of a wet lettuce who couldn’t lead. The political equivalent of that nice guy that girls always see as their little brother instead of boyfriend material. The press wrote funny headlines and his political opponents laughed him off. But Jeremy’s message was gaining traction. There was a quiet, dignified honesty about him as he stood unfazed by the weekly jeers and laughter of the toff Bullingdon Club bullies opposite him. His message resonated with a lot of people and soon he was leading the party with the most members in the UK. His critics, it seemed, had underestimated little Jeremy. Across town, a congregation of shady oligarchs and powerful press barons convened. “Look, Corbyn’s popularity is rising and we’re going to wind up paying a bit more tax! We’re going to have to use our current yachts for 6 more months at this rate! This cannot happen! We need to go nuclear on this chap. We need something big! How about “Corbyn’s a degenerate pervert?”” “No, that implicates too many of our own” “‘Corbyn the Coke Head!’” “You’re not listening, are you?” “”Corbyn wears women’s knickers at home!” That’ll sink him!” The press barons and hedge fund managers watched on contemptuously. How about ‘Jeremy Corbyn hates Jews?’” The room audibly let out a laugh. “Come off it, Giles! The man’s a bleeding heart liberal. A wimpy cumbuya vegan! That’ll never wash!” A taciturn Rupert Murdoch leaned forward in his chair, rousing the rabble into silence. “As I’m sure you’re aware, my associates and I command the vast majority of the media market here. We could tell people the human brain is made of cream cheese and they’d eventually believe it. My friends at DMG media have been telling my contemporaries in the general populous that a Dementia cure is on the horizon for 10 years. Cheers them up before reminding them Princess Diana died.” And so, Corbyn went from being a dishevelled little scamp with big dreams to a dangerous antisemite! Corbyn, of course, wasn’t a dangerous antisemite and embraced Judaism like all faiths as he always had done, spending Passover with some young Jews, Ramadan with old Muslims and Easter with country Christians. But when something’s on big letters on the front of the Daily Mail...and the word ‘Israel’ is in there, the taboo overload makes credulous right wingers believe there’s a Hitlery terrorist sympathiser in their midst. Corbyn didn’t rise to the bait. He’s been criticised in the past, and always vindicated, watching his critics adopt the very positions they vilified previously. This is the price Jeremy paid for standing up to powerful people. The people whose interests he represents became stupefied as evil people waved union flags in their faces and repeated the lies thought up in that influential room; the ostensible patriotism the evil adopted made it all the more compelling, like a swinging watch hanging from the fingers of a nefarious hypnotist, these rabid cattle people would vote for the beefburger company in their droves and kick out at the man holding their gate open.

I believe may be around 20 thousand people will stop voting labour for this issue, but I believe a much higher tuber of British Muslims will not vote the Tories because Johnson's disrespectful comments against the Muslim community in UK.

I don't see what's wrong with questioning the motives of the chief rabbi, it's not like the other religious leaders don't have their motives called into question all the time. Besides, there's plenty to wonder about when the chief rabbi sides with the conservatives who are drifting dangerously towards the far right. The Jewish voters belong with the rest of us minorities - voting with the left for the good of the whole of society. Don't let them use your fear against you, shalom 🙏🏼

Here are just a few actions taken to date by Corbyn to address antisemitism in the community and with Labour: 1. In October 1936, Jeremy Corbyn’s mother participated in the battle of Cable Street indefence of British Jews after British fascists had staged an assault on the area. Corbyn was raised in a household passionately opposed to antisemitism in all its forms. 2. In 23rd April 1977, Corbyn organised a counter-demonstrationto protect Wood Green from a neo-nazi march through the district. The area had a significant Jewish population. 3. On 7 November 1990, Corbyn signed a motion condemning the rise of antisemitism in the UK 4. In 2002 Jeremy Corbyn led a clean-up and vigil at Finsbury Park Synagogue which had been vandalised in an anti-Semitic attack 5. Nine years ago, Corbyn signed a Parliamentary motion praising “Jewish News”for its pioneering investigation into the spread ofAntisemitism on Facebook 10. On 9 February 2010, Corbyn signed a Parliamentary motion calling for an investigation into Facebook and its failure to prevent the spread of antisemitic materials on its site. 11. On 27 October 2010, Corbyn signed a Parliamentary motion praising the late Israeli Prime Minister for pursuing a two state solution to the Israel/Palestine question. 12. On 13 June 2012, Corbyn sponsored and signed a motion condemning the BBC for cutting a Jewish Community television programme from its schedule. 13. 1 October 2013, Corbyn appeared on the BBC to defend Ralph Miliband against vile antisemitic attacks by the UK press. 14. Five years ago Corbyn signed a Parliamentary motion condemning antisemitism in sport. 15. The entire backlog of cases outstanding upon Jennie Formby becoming General Secretary of the Labour Party was cleared within 6 months of Jennie taking up her post. Since September 2018, Labour has doubled the size of its National Constitutional Committee (NCC) - its senior disciplinary panel - from 11 to 25 members to enable it to process cases more quickly. Under Formby and Labour’s left-run NEC, NCC arranged elections at short notice to ensure the NCC reached its new full capacity without delay. Since later 2018, the NCC routinely convenes a greater number of hearing panels to allow cases to be heard and finalised without delay. In 2018, the NEC established a ‘Procedures Working Group’ to lead reforms in the way disciplinary cases are handled. The NEC adopted the IHRA working definition of antisemitism and all eleven examples of antisemitism attached to it. A rule change agreed at Conference in 2018 means that all serious complaints, including antisemitism, are dealt with nationally to ensure consistency. Last year, Jennie Formby wrote to the admins and moderators of Facebook groups about how they can effectively moderate online spaces and requested that any discriminatory content be reported to the Labour Party for investigation. Since last year, no one outside Labour’s Governance and Legal Unit can be involved in decision-making on antisemitism investigations. This independence allows decisions free from political influence to be taken.

Labour has become one of only two party’s (along side the far-right BNP) to be investigated by the Equality and Human Rights Commission. [18] [19]

I am glad that most people in the comments can see that these claims are false ....tactics to oppose a leader that has criticised the Zionist state of Israel

We know what your platitudes say, Mr. Corbyn - you repeat them 100's of times but what does your true heart say. Whenever Jeremy Corbyn is asked a question why he didn't do more in the past to stamp out anti-semitism in the Labour Party, he just repeats mere platitudes. I just listened to the Andrew Neil interview with Mr. Corbyn and Andrew gave him around five or more times to apologise for the leadershipship of Labour's slow and poor response to anti-Semitism, and all Jeremy could say was the same exact words Jeremy used here: MERE PLATITUDES.

christopher briscoe Every time someone mentions Anti Semitism during an election...... I think...... hmmmmmm really........ that is the depth of our politics..... what about the EU’s Defence Unification? That’s an actual real reason to think deeply about the election....... if you care about your country?

From the Chief Rabbi's Facebook page “I am delighted to congratulate Boris Johnson, a longstanding friend and champion of the Jewish community, on becoming the next leader of the Conservative Party and our next Prime Minister. As he accepts upon himself the mantle of responsibility to lead our nation, may he be blessed with the wisdom to successfully navigate the political uncertainties we face and bring healing and prosperity to our great country.” facebook.com/ChiefRabbiMirvis/posts/i-am-delighted-to-congratulate-boris-johnson-a-longstanding-friend-and-champion-/2204811272981328/
