Drue may well have been the biggest acquisition the Chiefs got this year. He has been so clutch in being a signal caller alternate with Nick Bolton as well as a high level and versatile LB.

I think a lot of it is he’s so selfless it’s all about the team and he wants to win. He played so hard while on the chargers and now he’s on a winning team. He’s just a smart player that can flat out hit somebody, I bet they resign him

@@daytonbolton1190 It kind of sucks for Willie Gay, Jr., though. He's been here, longer and they gave the green dot to the new guy and passed him right over. Willie's hinted that he may not be back, next year. I'll keep following him, wherever he ends up, and maybe it'll be with KC, after all.

I coached and taught Drue in middle school. What you see is what you get with him. He was a leader, smart, and good dude. He had a plan, and it is coming to fruition. Go Chiefs.

Wow! What an impressive interview from a fabulous football player! I didn’t know anything about him when the Chiefs signed him. Drue is class all the way on and off the field. I don’t believe the Chiefs would or could have made this incredible Super Bowl run without him. Kudos to Bret Veach and Andy for recognizing this Clark Kent/Superman and signing him. Chiefs need to resign him and lock him up asap! Obviously he’s as high a character person as he is a tremendous and fierce defender and competitor! I give thanks for Drue Tranquill and I’m not one that’s easily and usually impressed! Go Chiefs!

Great Defense Tranquill !! #23 is really an All Around Good Player and Person which makes it worse because you can't get mad at the guy but it is the last game of the season so every body respects each other at the end of the day... It should be a fierce game on the field but off the field every body should shake hands and smile after wards ....

It’s not as simple as drafting a DT in the 1st round.. Chris Jones isn’t just some easily replaceable player. He’s a 1 of 1! Sure, you can plug in a solid DT & likely not regress much as a defense but there will be that something special missing if he goes.

I love Chris but he deserves more money than we can pay him. Better to free up the cap space and focus on drafting receivers. Maybe sign a free agent receiver and not risk a bum draft pick next year. Drue is a no brainer resign

Anything can happen but highly unlikely. 49ers are a great team and they are gonna find the end zone however, I don't see the Chiefs defense giving up more that 17 to 20 points and I think Chiefs can score 24-28. We'll see though. Gonna be a great game.
