Im so glad Yuma was able to detect Chika's lie with her side effect and told her to fire off one round while also subtly letting Osamu know that it wasn't good to rush her into normal shooting. Eventually, Chika nuking people will be the norm. But for now, I'll enjoy the precious times where she does unleash her massive Trion! Looking forward to her growth as a sniper and as a battler.

No it won't. Lots of teams have snipers that can shoot Chika's bullets. And if they shoot while its too close to her and she has her Bagworm equipped, she can't block her own explosion.

Idk how WT manages to make his turtle paced evolution engaging and interesting, but I suppose that's the bulk of the work he has cut out for him. He teamed up with 3 monsters and he needs to learn how to best utilize them in rough situations. I just hope all this build up pays off once they leave earth.

Yes, it very much is I think. It's big on talking out strategy before and during battles, so if you want more nonstop action it may not be for you. That said, the battles are still amazing and that much moreso because you understand the strategy behind what everyone is doing. It's also just an interesting premise with an immense cast of great characters.

I started it then fell off for a while but man am I glad i got back on it. the first season is like 70ish episodes. and while there were some slow parts and one kinda random arc, i have not regretted watching this. I feel like a lot of people are sleeping on this one. one thing that i like and, i hope this isnt a spoiler, but the mc isn't super powerful like in many animes but makes up for it throughout the show which is a nice change of pace. lot of funny moments too. lot of cliff hangers too but for the first season i just binged it. now for the second and third i have to wait which is driving me crazy but in a good way. i hope you give it a shot.

It's really popular in Japan but I think it doesn't land for a western audience due to the pacing. There is a lot of down time and most of the down time is used to build mystique and mystery around the world and characters. Then there is normally a climactic event that is much shorter than the buildup that info dumps and has some great fights. Personally, I think the pacing gets better as the show goes on since there is less to explain but it can be hard to sit through like the first even 20 or so episodes. The world building and power system is very well done and leads to great fights and character moments but aren't the focus of the show at least most of the time. It kind of has that Bleach syndrome opening as well. Where we start off basically completely clueless so the show sets up over dramatic scenarios to keep you interested until you know more It's worth getting into but there is a good chance you'll drop it a few times before you have enough time to sit through the beginning

An incredibly underrated anime. Just a heads up, the animation in the earlier seasons is not as good as the later seasons (lots of filler frames and unnecessarily long shots). But, the quality seems to be increasing with every season, the fact they keep getting more budget, means this anime has a solid foundation. Really love the variety of characters, strategy and tactics in this anime.
