And it’s not just marriage and housing, you have to deal with their shit, do all the housework, and most likely get abused. I really don’t know what the “sweet deal” you see here is. People say that child at 11 years old get married off because they get their period so it’s a sign that they are ready for pregnancy. No their not. Yes in the mental sens they’re not ready at all but also in the physical sense. There are girls who lost their womb due to a young pregnancy, people younger than 20 who became very sick, who even died because while the logic was there, it wouldn’t work in reality. My mother for example got a severe chronic injury in her back that’ll never heal by giving birth to me, and she was 22 or 23 so imagine a girl of 14. This is straight up abuse. Not only are they making a child work, they’re also exploiting her organs, they’re destroying her health for selfish purposes. Not to say its clearly pedophelia, especially if the girl marries a man who can be her father. Why do they treat woman and man differently? I want to ask the parents, so your son is your child but your daughter is not? They all came in this world the same way, why do you treat your daughter like a thing and your son like human? If you don’t consider every one of your child a treasure, you shouldn’t even be allowed to get children.

My closest cousin there, who's around 15 years old- recently got married to this 40 year old man, whos wife had passed away. His excuse was that he needed someone to take care of his son, who's a toddler. He couldn't himself, since It's a cultural belief that men shouldn't nurture their children until puberty. Not only that some people that's not from rural areas or because their economic reason are also glorifying underage marriage, think that it's completely normal.

@@unde4d.vampirSo why exactly is it still wrong, all these metrics you have given such as school and job are all subjective and arbitrary. If it was that wrong then our bodies wouldn’t have been built for it. This 18th birthday is a just a government age which they decided on less than a 100 years ago when humanity had been accepted this as something normal for thousands of years. What I do agree with you on is that they shouldn’t date, they should go ahead and make it official by getting married. That offers stability vs dating at any age which doesn’t.
@unde4d.vampir3 ай бұрын
@@robthebob4586 What do you mean with " our bodies wouldn’t have been built for it"? 100-1000 years ago the people dind´t get that old but it wasn´t normal (were I live) that a 15 y.o. and a 30 y.o. were marrying. They were marrying young but both genders f.e. my grandparents married with 17&18 years thy were both young and had no idea what to do in a marriage. And just bc humanity had been accepted that doesn´t mean that is was right and normal. I mean, according to this logic, you can repeat anything that happened in the past because people accepted it, e.g. B. 500 years ago "witches" were burned in (my continent) and people accepted it for about 300 years, so we can reintroduce it because people had accepted it for several hundred years. Mahishasura got boon from Brahma (Supreme God of Hinduism) as Brahma got pleased by Mahishasura's deep meditation. He wanted to be immortal. The devtas pleased Adi Shakti Devi Durga and she killed Mahishasura. From that time onwards, she is known as Mahishasuramardini (The Lady who killed Mahishasura). Maa Kali also an avatar of Shakti killed the Raktabeeja, a demon who got the boon that when even a single drop of blood falls on the land, thousands of Raktabeeja will born. Maa Kali killed raktabeeja and drank his whole blood without falling a single drop of blood. Maa kali is Shmashan Charini. This sounds exactly like my grandma. Literally kidnapped from her home, had my dad at 15. As I am 14 now I cannot even imagine having a child a year from now, I will am a kid. And yet she did, now living in a healthy marriage across the country far away from the people who had hurt her.

I'm sorry, KIDNAPPED?? WTF?? I feel so sorry for your mom..I hope she's doing better, and that the people who hurt her get hit in the face with karma.

I can't stop crying. Your mother's childhood was stolen from her but she didn't let that happen to you. For your mama, you are her teddy bear 😢😢😢

im from iraq and i can say that this was common years ago my grandma was married when she was 15 my grandpa was 21 she had her first child (my dad) at 16. nowadays this isnt as common but its still around. yeah its disgusting also there is a thing we have where girls are "taken" like their parents would have an agreement where both of their children will HAVE to get married at a certain age, i was 11 and some girl in my school said she's taken by her cousin. i hate my culture so much my dad tells me he will never let me suffer through that ever.

Sadly this is a problem in the US as well. Legally if a parent signs the paperwork a child at any age can be married to anyone.
@phoenixangel50733 жыл бұрын
No. What? Only at 16 and 17 you can do that because they are still technically minor. Bellow 16 it's forbidden.
@aubreysharp83843 жыл бұрын
@@phoenixangel5073 no. Some states have no child age restrictions
