the more i look up about this game the more in love i fall with it. i dont typically like turn based rpgs but this one, god damn. the artwork, the music, the story, its all just amazing.

Oh this looks lovely. Fairy tale inspiration, picture book style, JRPG system and a fairy princess as hero - it's all making me nostalgic, and I wish I had a game like this as a kid. I also like that the creators are thinking of an actual message for the story instead of just using the fairy tale style as decor only.

The Grandia series has the best battle system of any turn-based rpg series imo. This looks like a mixture of Valkyrie Profile and Grandia. Very cool.

I think if you're an oldschool fan of JRPGs, you'll very much enjoy this. This may look somewhat kiddish, but remember, back in the day there were quite a few successful JRPGs that also followed suit and used similar character designs. So this is like a homage to oldschool JRPG fans that miss playing these sorts of games.

"Magical" :3 But yea its been ages since we last saw a JRPG and this looks very interesting and with wonderful art style, I still can't get why people are obsessed with graphics this days If the artwork is presented well within that universe and world then that is what matters

im surprised makers of far cry made this, i can't wait to play this game turn based rpgs are still played, hello ever heard of pokemon? it used same format for every game and still sells millions. Its nice to see Ubisoft trying RPG world finally getting tired of just dance and assassin creed.

Hopefully this game will help people realize that JRPGs aren't necessarily made by Japanese devs, and WRPGs aren't necessarily made by western devs. They are named based on where the genres originated, not on who made them. Dark Souls was the example for the latter, and this is a good example of the former. I do wish this were action based though. I haven't seen an 2D action-platformer RPG since Super Paper Mario.

Imo this game is a 9.8 out of 10 the ONLY reason it does'nt get a perfect score is that some of the rhyming dialoge between characters feels forced......except Rubella 'cause those were quite funny

I don't like the character portraits .... and somehow the battle animations seem lazy, it would look a lot better if each frame was drawn separately instead of just moving pre-drawn limbs.

Have you thought the majority of games have male protagonists and still lots of girls play them? You're not the character, you're just role playing it, so I don't see any problem in keeping Aurora the only playable character.

I think choosing and customizing your character affects the charachter's developement, in a negative way. It's better to have a solid protagonist rather than a void puppet made by the person who plays the game.
