How does one add twine if you are tying on the lead line and you run out of twine
@equipyourselflifeskills58024 жыл бұрын
Hopefully your using double line. If so each in of the line will make a loop. Run your needle through one loop and the pass the needle through it own loop, pull tight. This will make a square knot joining the two pieces of double twine.

If it’s not available to you, dilute some polyurethane 50/50.

good morning, here I am again to disturb you. I started the net, for now I made 20 ", but at its end the meshes are twisted is it normal? Another thing, you can measure with the gauge the diameter of the wire you use # 4 because in Italy there is no correspondence. 210/9 thread which corresponds to 0.016 inches in. Thanks for your reply and have a nice day.

The twist on the bottom mesh is normal. The Flying Dutchman technique twists the twine making the webbing knot turn one half turn as you build your net. This produces very beautiful webbing and also causes the webbing to want to close on it own. I am unsure what may be available to you in Italy. You’re correct to measure the diameter of the twine in an attempt to get it correct. Some research based on the measurements should produce the results you want. The #4 bonded twine that I recommend is rated at approximately 30 pound (13.4 kg) braking strength. If your willing to purchase the twine from the USA, you can order it from Memphis Net & Twine Co. I hope this helps.

@@equipyourselflifeskills5802 Thanks for your answer, but does it cost you so much to measure wire # 4 and tell me how many tenths or thousandths of an inch is it? thank you best wishes for happy holidays.

I make my nets for myself or my family. I don’t sell the nets I make. Sorry, I know that is not the answer you were looking for. I make the videos so others have the ability to learn and make them if they desire.
