So they don't stop baby from opening the drawer and then closing it and trapping their fingers. How exactly is this a "safety" catch? The only thing it protects is the parents from having to clean up the mess when baby opens the drawer and decides to empty it over the floor for fun. Should be called a "convenience catch".

I'm amazed they can sell them as safety catches when they allow trapped fingers. A design that prevents trapped fingers *and* work on stacked drawers will be a winner.

These work on a frameless cabinet style, howerer they do not work on framed cabinets without adding a block behind the frame. Cheap cabinets that you put together are almost exclusively frameless, custom cabinets are typically built in a frame style. Buyer beware.
