Child shot in Renton road rage incident still in serious condition

Just horrible, I hope in this instance that first driver who got out of his vehicle and approached the other car also receives some punishment. Clearly the driver who chose to pull a weapon and pull the trigger deserves the most punishment here though.

Also, if the dumbass didn’t approach a vehicle (most likely in a very hostile way) then the man wouldn’t have felt threatened enough to shoot. Goes both ways. I would have pulled my weapon too if a strange man comes up to me in my car like that. Might not have shot him but I would have scared him away with it….hopefully.

Sadly, dumb actions can have horrible outcomes. I feel for this child. He didn’t deserve it but he put his child in danger approaching a vehicle he didn’t know. That being said, I hope they find the shooter because he needs to be off the streets. I can almost guarantee he didn’t acquire the weapon legally too. They never do when they run like that.

Let's take the advice back a step. Drive carefully and courteously. Put down your phone, avoid distractions, concentrate on your driving, and you will be far less likely to hack somebody off. Also, give yourself a little extra time to get where you are going, so you have a relaxed attitude.

I drive a lot for both of my jobs. I rarely see state patrol. I see people passing me ,driving 60 going over 80. I've seen people passing with double yellow. I wonder could the lack of state patrol have anything to do with the lawlessness on our roadways? Who was it that fired our troopers again?
