There's an Asian one and there weren't this many butt hurt messages. Every race makes sacrifices but right now in this video it's black people. You see the title. You clicked on the video ANYWAYS and then get salty. If you didn't comment these comments on the Asian video refrain from doin so on Black ones and the next which is most likely Hispanic/Spanish.

Why is it whenever a black person has a narrative on their PERSONAL life experiences, it seems other people of "one specific race" want to impose the their opinions on that black individual? Most of the time those "opinions" are based on negative stereotypes portrayed by a biased media? I just don't understand why a black person isn't allowed to look and feel like an actual human being?

I don't really believe in reverse racism but yea buzzfeed likes to draw reactions. Like the questions black people had for white people I wish they worded the title better because there was so much hate on the video cause. And generalizing a race is kind of counterproductive when you're talking about how you've been generalized. They care more about views then actually solving social issues so it makes sense.

I'm not black, but i'm hispanic. My dad had a stroke back in june. We didn't have money. We are still paying for the medical bill but when we were at the hospital. My mom sacrificed not eating just to feed me and my brother. We only had 100$ dollars left in my dads pocket when he had the stroke. He forgot everything. We didn't know the bank account password and there was 1,000 dollars in there. All of my mother's friends were helping her giving rides just to go to the hospital (we didn't have a car) I remember I use to ask to get food out of the vending machine in the hospital and my mom always use to give us money for it. I couldn't believe that I did that. After I realized that, i stopped doing that. Then one day my mom found 300 dollars under my dads bed. My mom was so blessed. She thanked god for that. My dad is now better. If you are still reading this. Hug your parents. Say I love you to them. If you are still reading this god bless you. Thank you for your time.

The World is not sad at all trust me. Please understand that you can be sad at times and that is fine too, sadness can be a beautiful way to find your happiness!. You have to built happiness and the true joy on the mud of unhappiness that's the way it works. We life in a world with a lot of sad things in this world like we life for a while, get our hearts broken, maybe family our friends get sick or die and you die too. But I believe that you will reincarnate. So What I mean to say is sometimes sadness and bad things that happen to us is a needed !! It can be foundation for our own true joy. Just recognize your pain and sadness look at it.. recognize it and let go of it . let go of everything and feel the full joy of the world. That''s my wish. That every being in this universe feels the joy of the present moment the joy of the now just happens. Meditation really helps to calm your mind , You could try it !

To the people are saying "do my ethnicity our parents struggled harder" please have a seat. Also realize that the stories of 5 people do not reflect everyone else. Of course many of you will accept the ideal that "immigrants would have a harder time adjusting to life here and the immigrant parents would naturally have to give up more and work harder" but you wouldn't believe the horror stories of some of BLACK AMERICAN BORN parents and great grandparents, and great great grand parents. The few people on here are privileged to have a platform to share their experiences, and to demean black parents and their struggles as less than others because of these 5 people is sick. Even if in your mind you still think "their struggles weren't as bad as other ethnicities" something should click and tell you "they are American born why do their parents struggle as much as immigrant parents". That's honestly enough in it's own and there shouldn't be any comparisons period.

+Qweena Williams Notice how the hate on this video was more than any hate on the other parent videos. As if A Black person's struggles is lesser than theirs. My parents are from the Caribbeans and they weren't born here. Imagine working 25 years in a country but only have a visa for 7 years? Oh wait...never mind because Black people don't have those issues right? People need to get a life. Everyone has struggles and yours aren't more important than ours cause your parents are immigrants. Mine were too. Thanks for noticing that Qweena, and I agree with you 100%.

For the negativity can you let them give minorities a chance to speak out? They did an Asian video now they're doing a black video and they can possibly do other videos like Latino etc. The thing about minorities it is that they come from all over the world without as much of a chance. My mom came from South Sudan with no parents and child by the time she was 21. During her journey to getting to the US for freedom, people did all sorts of terrible things to her. Minorities have more of a chance to struggle. They weren't given as much as an opportunity as most Caucasian people are given from my experience. Correct me if I'm wrong, but most white people don't have to worry about being born in a Third World Counrtry. If my mom didn't manage to leave South Sudan the time she did, she probably be dead because of the crazy Civil War that they just signed a peace treaty for. So enjoy the video, leave, or wait your turn. Nobody had the time to listen to your ignorance.

If I'm on the first floor and you're on the third floor if we both go up a level we're not on the same level. I need to rise two more floors in order to be on the same level as you. That makes us equal if we don't start off in the same place we need to work harder or be given better opportunities in order to have any hope of making it to the same level as people who aren't recent immigrants.

People of every race can go through hard things, the reason people online separate race and show people of color, is because the whole media already shows white struggles, there's countless movies about the struggles of white, people, and celebrating white American culture. There's classic movies like snow white where her pale skin is praised, but then online when a black person praises melanin for giving them dark skin, people get mad. Both are great things to celebrate if you want, but one isn't shown as much in the big media so people have to take it into their own hands.

There's different races. Just wait for your chance to come up instead of hating on another. Sometimes the spotlight has to be shared, not everything has to be based on one specific player, in this case race. What I'm trying to say is, wait, be patient. Not every single minute everyone has to be looking at you, sometimes it takes more than two people to make an act work. (My metaphors are horrible and so irrelevant😅 but hope you understand)

My mum's dad past when she was 11. My nan first met My grandad in the Fifty's and I think it was through a family friend. When she left for the UK she thought that would be the last time she would see him when in fact it was the last time she would see a lot of her family. She arrived in the UK with no clue what to do. It was hard especially being a Black young girl. She spent most of her time in job centre's until eventually she found a job working for a catering company situated around 5 minutes away from Buckingham palace. She said one day a lady walked in and she turned in surprise to see the queen, From that day she would pop in often to have a piece of my nan's rum cake. My nan Managed to save up enough money to purchase a bedsit ( a flat with only one room and a bathroom with a kitchen, living area and bedroom shared), She saw a bedsit in the newspaper that she had her eye so she called up the number and arranged to purchase it. When a she arrived at the bedsit she open the door and called out the lady's name and the lady walked out of the room astonished to see a young black lady standing there at the door, she asked " Are you, Miss Gray? " My nan replied with as yes "I'm ever so sorry but you can't have this flat because Ummm it just was sold, so please may you leave" left there with tears running down her face and returned to her family members home in Brixton. I'm still unsure how she met my grandad but I'm sure that he arrived in the UK to visit her and eventually stayed. He was a strict parent from what she says but mainly due to the Carribean upbringing. He past of a Heart attack. Just before he passed, my nan split up with him as she said sometimes he was abusive to her. He left my nan in debt and as a single black mother that was hard so she had to work night shifts which were from around 6 pm to 6 am but she would also work day shifts. She would get around 2 hours of sleep per day. My nan did not have the greatest education as she left Jamacia at the age of 18 and could not afford it. Her main aim was to give my Mum, her Brother and Sister the education she never had, so she worked even harder. My mum went to a Private catholic all girls school where she remember's having the best years of her life. My nan Paid of the debt and Moved out of the house that she felt had bad spirits around eight years later. My nan is lonely and I admit to that as she lives 2 hours away from my house. On Fridays straight after school, I go to visit her and really tell that she loved him.

I'm glad that I'm not the only black girl who gets anxious. People think black women are always confident but you gotta learn to be confident. It doesn't just come with you when you're born. When life gets tough, you have no choice but to be strong. And I think that ALL women and ALL men should learn to be strong because we all go through trials and tribulations in life and you gotta learn how to move on and focus on achieving your goals.

Everyone has had struggles in life and you all are like "where is the white version" but have you guys realized that people with fair skin came to America comfortably and stole land claiming they found a new world when native Americans were here first. And then they when to Africa and stole people of African origins and they were treated terribly they weren't classified as humans they were property. And just so you know rasicm still hasn't ended so it was hard for them to be accepted for jobs to live stably and give their children what was needed so they had to sacrifice . People of different races have too struggled because of stereotypes . But have you not realized Caucasian people had it easier today and in the past even if they were poor they could get a job faster than other races because stereotypes have made other races look bad and people are biased. But it all started when Caucasians thought they were genetically more intelligent than other races. So you guys have it easy.

And I never said " whites are the most evil ones because they conquered most of the earth". I don't hold a grudge with them at all if that's what you were thinking. And I said everyone has struggles it is not against whites or anyone.I know many people of different races have done evil things so I have no say in who is the one that is crueler than the other. And I did not disregard anything , it may have come off that I only have a problem with whites but I don't everyone is treated equally but those who have proved wrong are not worth it.

The bond and love that my mum and her siblings have is something that I always look up to and am thankful that me and my siblings have a bond like theirs! Strong Women and Men who make sacrifices for their family, I salute them!

People are so mad because this is about black people and every race goes through these sacrifices and that it's separated into races. Get over it. Stop focusing on their race and start focusing on what they're saying.

I choose to see this as a video about good parents not about race. We all make sacrifices, and we have all had sacrifices made for us, we should be thankful for the lives we have no matter how horrible they may be.

This is so beautiful. I don't have a great relationship with my mother but this has reminded me to think about the sacrifices she made for me.
