You have occasionally made your own sauces like you have done today, and I just want to say that you are the first person ever to teach me how to make the sauces. I wanted to thank you for all the joyous experimentation I have done with sauces since the first time I saw you make a sauce. Thank you!!! So delicious!

That looks amazing. Totally agree with you about browning ingredients before putting in a slow cooking. Browning adds so much flavour, and gives meat a nicer texture in the final meal. TYVM for sharing ❤
@danielkaiser8971 Жыл бұрын
You answered a question I almost asked. Browning the meat(s) in the frying pan can make the meat firm, but cooking in in the crockpot for a while will make it more tender. And also, now that I have seen you add the chuck roast, I want to try it that way to give more texture and flavor than ground beef alone. You are so talented! Thanks for the idea.

I made your arroz con pollo recipe 2 days ago. It was delicious. I'll use a pinch less tomato sauce though and maybe rub the chicken rub into the meat itself in addition to the skin, but it's a win and will be on the rotation now for meals I'll make.

Yum yum yum!!! Fall is arriving. Perfect dish. Can't wait to try your sauce recipe. I totally support the beer as ingredient! I worked next to a bar that had an amazing chili so I asked the cook what his secret was. Beer was the answer. It absolutely enhances all the flavors. Now it is a must in the chili!! Never make it without! Also will try the chuck roast addition...on sale this week too!!😂 Looking forward to making this mid-week.❤😊 Thanks Simply Mama🙏🏼😇👍

New here 😊 this recipe looks delicious 😋 now that the weather is turning cold I will be making chili again. I use the Instant pot to brown the meat and then I can add all of the other ingredients and cook under pressure or like a crock pot all day. I think beer adds a wonderful flavor. I've never thought of using a chuck roast along with chop meat but definitely will try this. Thanks so much for an awesome recipe ❤

I love the chili but I don't add sugar to the cornbread I'm diabetic so no sugar. I won't add the beer to the chili cause my husband and I don't drink alcohol of any kind but I will make it looks really really yummy ❤❤❤❤ God bless you and your family
@songsthatarecatchy Жыл бұрын
You do realize the alcohol burns off right? It won't get you drunk or anything. It's for flavor and for the yeast on the beer
@danielkaiser8971 Жыл бұрын
@@songsthatarecatchy People have different reasons for not keeping alcohol in their house, from religious to medical, or sometimes, to avoid the temptation of consuming it when it is not being used in cooking recipes. It's just one of those "personal preference" things. 👍
@karenkaren8225 Жыл бұрын
@@songsthatarecatchy Hello. Just an FYI. Not all the alcohol disappears when cooking. But, the longer a dish is cooked, the less there is in a recipe. Thank you for your info, too, because some might not know that this happens as food cooks. 👍
