I’ve recently just started skate, only skate now in the parking lot in front of my apartment but hopefully I’ll be able to do city skating like you some day. Thanks for the video and keep doing your great work! ☺️

Love your skating videos! I recently bought my first pair of skates because of your channel! I was wondering if you have any practice/exercises/tutorials that you've used when you was a beginner to get to the level you are now? What would you recommend for a beginner and how do you progress?
@whittyskater3 жыл бұрын
Have a look at my tutorials on this channel. The first thing I would learn is how to slow down and stop. Once you have a confident stopping technique the world of skating will open before you! After that just pracrice, practice, practice as much as you can. Good luck learning.

Thank you for your reply! Your tutorials are really clear and informative and I appreciate your huge effort that went in those. Looking forward for more in the future! Thanks a lot again.

Great relaxing flow! I have been sick for some time and really miss skating. Wathing your flow is at least some candy for my soul. Looking forward to some skate-flow-therapy soon. Time to coin that term? ☺

Honestly around the same time 2021 i also started having the desire to learn roller skating. But at that time i didn't have enough money to buy one pair i was working part time for a summer job at a school and i told myself that once i finish highschool i will buy a pair and then learn it in this same school park

Beginner skater here, I'm down in Gloucester next weekend, and good flat spots you can recommend ? The park near the beginning of the flow looked like the kind of thing I'm after, bit of space to get my stride in but nothing too rough or sloped. Cheers

Head for kingsway. Modern housing area with lots of nice smooth paths. Or if in the city head for the docks. Some good open spaces for easy skating...just watch out for the nearby cobbles!

This was a smooth flow, and it looks like it was a beautiful day. Is this the average level of foot and vehicle traffic in the area, or a function of the day/time of day?
@whittyskater3 жыл бұрын
About average for the time of day.

Do you know your feet in mm? I've tried the 42 fr1's but can't get the mid strap to close - my feet seem too tall. I'm at 178mm. Also have you ever tried endless 100? What made you choose 90?
@whittyskater3 жыл бұрын
About 28cm. I wanted to see if 90mm would offer a bit more speed but still with good control compared my 80mm skates. Never tried 100.

Are inlines better suited for different types of terrain? I'm learning quads and every time I approach any kind of change in the ground I crap myself 😭
@whittyskater3 жыл бұрын
I'm no expert on quads but I think inlines are better suited to skating the streets with more varied terrain. They tend to be better at rolling through rougher terrain.
@nikkiw63 жыл бұрын
@@whittyskater am literally on my friend's inlines as I type... wow! So different!!!!

You have great content, do you have a patreon account???? And if not, why not? There are very few people in the uk delivering this kind of content and I think you would have quite a few supporters! Just a thought ….. 👍🏻
