new pump is lookin good man! Should be a 2 pass, single pass and 3 pass would typically have one pipe out each side. Videos are awesome man, thanks for sharing.

Didn't that last fan look lime it was going backwards
@subcoolHVAC6 ай бұрын
The drive controls correct rotation, it’s just the shutter speed of camera happened to seem backwards. Correct rotation verified. Thanks for watching through 👍

Was that fan going backward? When it slowed after belt change it sure looked backwards.

No, its the way the camera speed recorded, I thought the same thing during editing. Good question 👍

Place I worked for had a dozen or so 60 to 75 HP driven cooling towers all on VFD'S. Of course the four most critical towers had the most problems. Who ever connected the 480 volt wires was no electrician. They did not tighten the split bolt bugs tight enough and only used a couple of turns of cheapest made cheating china tape. All four would trip out in ground faults until I climbed up and redid connections. Thought it was hot & extra muggy in Viet Nam and in a slaughter house kill floor & basement rendering plant but after only spending a hour up inside of these towers underwear & even my socks were soaking wet from sweating. Vibration switches would of course give us the most trouble during hottest muggy days.

Definitely not the most desirable environment to work in , hopefully this prevents me from sweat soaked experience this Summer 🥵Thanks for sharing your experience 👍
