John! Lovely recipe. I always need to remember you're in London when you do Mexican food. In my part of Northern California you can get amazingly delicious, fully authentic burritos for $7.00 or less. Wishing you and your family a Blessed New Year.

$7.50 American, maybe a little more with some salsa/pico on the side. I've done tacos with those black beans cooked with a little finely diced onion in a little bacon fat and that's like gilding the lily. I don't know if that would be tastable(is that even a word) in a burrito.

Oh man, that burrito looks so tasty. Love how you build it. I alwasys pile everything on top but how you do it makes much more sense. Next time I'll do it that way, too. I'd do 7 or 8 pounds. Boom!

There is a place in my hometown Jeddah that sells burritos for at least 10 pounds and it's delicious but your burrito food busker is definitely worth more than 10 pounds

Not really Mexican though, that's clearly Texas food because we don't eat rice on our burritos, chili is not a Mexican thing and I've never seen a Mexican prepare refried beans like that, not saying it's bad or anything but it's not a Mexican recipe.
