Why not use the old destroyed Dart SV for the ship that is in need of repair display?

Hi Spanj. I am playing single player RE2. One of the things that have made me reluctant to build a large base and make it a home is that I am planning to travel further away from it once I have a super CV that I could call home as well. If my plan is eventually to go into Legacy territory and explore the universe, is seems a large homely base is a waste of time. Yes, I do build a base initially, but I don't really do the amazing aesthetic upgrades and additions that you do. It is purely functional, and not very large. Am I missing something in my understanding and usefulness of a large fully equipped homely base? Do you have any words of wisdom on this?

I'm the same way. What I use a base for is a place to repair my vessels without having to pay for it at a trade station. I typically build a large pad with a furnace on a world or moon in every major territory (zirax, traders, Farr, drone land etc). I carry just about everything in the main CV that docks other CVs and ships, and dump the heavy ingots into the repair bays to those mini bases. I have a CV dedicated to just farming Pentaxid docked to the main CV, and a destroyer CV as well for combat. The main CV has the most efficient thrusters and upgrades to make it able to haul.

So my general purpose of a base is kinda like a backup. Sure i have a large ship that I ferry around the galaxy doing all the stuff and things but every now and again I return to base and offload the cargo, split it in half and put half back on the ship. Then off I go again. Now should I lose that ship for whatever reason. I have whatever I have stashed in the base as backup. Its also nice to just have somewhere to call home....for me atleast. On multiplayer, a central base for your faction to operate from is a good idea for organising all the resources and growing insane amounts of food, pentax and meds etc that your faction will use

@@Spanj Great, thanks for your response. Do you play on high difficulty for drones attacks and enemies, or the default normal or medium with RE2?

I would like to know why are the motion sensors not detecting capital ships, Can anyone answer that question :)
