I was far too old to be scared by this when I saw it, but my little brother wasn't. He was terrified of these guys. So naturally being the loving big brother that I was I would stick a feather duster around the corner to his room and say "hey! anyone got a spare head in here?" in my best fireys voice. He'd probably still scream if I did it today.

I must be weird because this movie and dark crystal were my favourite childhood movies ever! Now I’m 48 and I watched this 4 days ago😂😂😂😂✌🏻

This is one of those scenes that don't scare me now, but I know for a fact that had I seen this as a kid I would've been terrified by it

This scared the mess out of me as a 6 year old. What were my parents thinking. It still haunts my corners of my mind. (Seems awesome now) lol

In the sequel, I can picture Sarah and her daughter encountering these guys and bursting into the same song.

Was 12 when I saw this in the theaters. Kinda funny seeing all these folks saying they were scared to death when they saw this as kids, when this was always my favorite song and scene in the movie.

I like how the only reason why this was in the movie is because Jim Henson made the puppets and this is the kind of thing that Jim Henson would do.

I remember recording this onto my microcassete recorder (with the other songs) so I could sneak it into the library. Listening to good songs while reading the paperbacks.

I was never scared of these guys, the tunnel full of hands was what got me as a child.
