The money was a very small part of the reason for me leaving religion. But last year my friends came to this realization about the Catholic Church. After both her parents die two months apart. After years of giving it all to the church. The only message they got from the church was a letter thanking them for choosing a Catholic cemetery and what the fees they had to pay.
