Land space is exactly what Maldives requires from China. Maldives is sinking into the ocean. And only China and Dubai can help Maldives to reclaim land from the sea. China can double the size of Maldives over the next decade, and high above the sea level. India uses Maldives. China adds values. In this case, sustained survival Alternatively, all people of Maldives can relocate to China in the worst case scenario. @@manikanthan4693 Maldives is a small country with a tiny population. In the extreme case, China can easily evacuate all to safety. Reclamation can be very selective and can be away from corals. When the time comes China will help Australia to save the Great Barrier Reef. All these may be totally impossible to the rest of the world. But to China, these are very much everyday projects. No big deal. As said, despite everything and anything, Japanese are still anticipating China will help when Japan sinks into the Pacific. No one else would bother. Japanese culture and heritage rooted from China.

Once a closure by the Chinese navy in SCS which it already control and Gwadar port in Pakistan , can tell me how India is going to get its oil even IF Chinese navy had not completely destroyed the Indian navy of old oudated ships. Go look at the map. even Japan , US ships etc are all cut off . Today it is the Chinese and Pak forces that controls it not the US or Indian navy
