I highly recommend you walk along the East Lake , the largest Lake inside a city in China, the scene is gorgeous, where you would ride the tandem bicycle and also take a cruise ship in the lake. YOU can take the metro 8 Line to Liyuan Station to start off.

But it’s also unlucky for you because in national day, you will be absolutely shocked by the huge amount of crowd all over the country. Every year the national day is the peak time for tourism. So be sure to prepare a hotel till next week, otherwise almost all the hotel room will be reserved. 😂

you mentioned mid autumn festival is based on lunar calendar and it actually marks when there's a full moon. lucky you were able to see it in full view above the city lights of wuhan 😄. once you get the tonal nature of mandarin, chinese is not that hard. differentiating the tones was the hardest part for me when I was learning it 😆

Mid Autumn Festival is based on Chinese Calendar not lunar calendar. They are very much different. Chinese Calendar is based both on solar and lunar system.

The name of the restaurant is Mr Big Bowl which implies everything will be served in big dish. I'm glad that they warned you that you ordered too much. You can always come back some other time if you want to try other dishes. I'm eager to see the people mountain people sea in the coming national day. Even though it will be very crowded, but you should have that experience at least once in your life. It will help you to get the full picture of China. I like that in China almost all pedestrian streets are lit up and so live after dark. Have fun!

For the souffle, I remember there is a small shop for it near the China city in London, which is called"黑芙蕾“（I hope I remember the right name）, the price is around 7-8 pounds, an affordable price in London.~ Also, a very interesting thing, some Chinese have their own definition for tiramisu hahaha.
