I find it a bit hard to look at. I took a "ropes" class once and had to rely on a belay while jumping from a ledge to a trapeze. I just decided they wouldn't have that in the course if it weren't safe. The guy holding the belay role was not as heavy as I was but there was friction involved. As it turns out he never had to "save" me but I did need to have a high level of trust.

Taking dogs on this walk is inhumane but then China's record in relation to animals in general isn't great. After all caging bears, skinning dogs alive and feeding cattle to lions in lion parks for the entertainment of park visitors is not uncommon in China.

Putting bears in cages with hardly enough room to move as a tube is inserted in their stomach. Skinning dogs alive and throwing them still alive to one side to die in agony. Cutting the fins off sharks and discarding them to die. About as inhuman as a people could possibly be. Oh and lets not forget the drag netting of the Sth China Sea and the incursions by Chinese fishermen into Galapagos waters: "The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated" That makes China not the not the great nation it sees itself as being and morally bankrupt.
