I've praised Paul and Steve before but never said anything about how solid the bass and drums are together. I played bass for a long time and found the best beat was when the bassist didn't step on the drummer. It gives the performance a punch that people appreciate. If people want jazz bass let them go drink coffee instead of beer. Kurt and Brady are a great team and a benefit to rock music overall.
