China has already master the technology to disable satellites with laser weapons. In a war the gps satellite is essential for long range missiles to hit targets thousands of miles away. By hitting the navigation and communication satellites of the USA China can make its missiles and drones useless. China’s advancement in 6G enables her to detect any missile launched anywhere on earth and transmit the data in a lightning speed to the central command. A warship, satellite or ground station can be equipped with laser weapons which can emit powerful laser beam which has the speed of light to hit any incoming missile before it even enters China’s airspace.

It was said in the early days of President Trump's sanctions against China that the US is 15 years ahead of China in Semiconductor Chip technology. Not any more. China has 9 of the top 20 Universities in the world. And produces 10 times as many STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) graduates as the US. With a population advantage of 1.4 billion people as the US, it no longer is a fair competition. China is steam rolling ahead.

Chinese is able to get more bang for its bucks so to speak. Not only does China have a large pool of scientists and engineers, it has funding and long range plans that keep project efficient and able to complete from research to production. Not only that, but because of the caustic environment against Chinese in the US, high level scientists, engineers, and professors are fleeing the US for China. America's loss, China's gain. I would also mention that foreign scientists are attracted to China. Shenzhen, for example, is now home to 10 Nobel Lauriates and other cities are doing likewise to attract top foreign talent.

The truth is rival doesn't necessarily have to equal America in defense technology. They just have to raise real casualty and equipment losses as well as bases to a level. That the American military would become unable to sustain. In otherwords wound America mortally without being destroyed yourself. That is the strategic problem of modern warfare facing our potential enemies, no one has come up with an war simulations that doesn't include their own demise. No one can win a WW2 scenario in the digital high computing power environment. My opinion it's impossible.
