I went to a Chinese Military Camp in China for one week back in the 2000s when I was around 10. It was not as luxurious as this. We were sleeping in rooms where there were no AC, had to do night hikes at 3am in the morning, ate crappy cafeteria food, and walking drills for days, and no contact with the parents. The only good things that was fun was going to a shooting range and shooting a real rifle as well as riding on the back of a tank.

they have this in canada. i was in army cadets but theres air cadets and sea cadets. in army cadet camps first is basic training, so u might shoot once or twice, reading maps, standard and emergency first aid, abseiling, search and rescue and of course drill. its a lot of fun and once u get older u can do stuff like the para course ( jump out of planes) , jungle survival where u go to other countries and live in the jungle, mountain survival, arctic survival, shooting camp. they got everything. honestly i loved it. tons of fun

I went to General Training and Basic Expedition with bravo company, both Argonaut. General training marksmanship was lackluster as we have no combat simulations similar to the ones seen in this video, and only shoot daisy pellet guns. Expedition entailed no marksmanship whatsoever, but we were issued combat fatigues and boots, along with rucksacks, which brought a lot more of a 'military' feel to the whole thing. Ended up ditching cadets after covid, my local cadet corps had became infamous with accepting less than physically or mentally capable individuals and giving them leadership roles.

To many people here in China, you could hardly get accepted by the military even if you applied for it🤣.it's because there are many policies that you could benefit from joning troops such as free university education, and a salary of estimated 500usd a month etc. Many Chinese parents choose summer camps(paid)simply to find a excuse to get rid of there children and have vacations themselves lol. I joined one myself when I was young. When ever I call them thery ware like : your mom and I were having fun, keep up with your training😇

Those kids were spoiled with lots of bad habits in the beginning. The aim of sending them to the summer camp was to help them to be a better person. It was their parents who wanted to send them to the summer camps run by private business. It is more and more popular as people's life in China is getting better and better, people getting rich and spoil their children. More and more kids spend hours and hours playing smart phones, watching Tiktok videos instead of having sports or study. That's why this is a trend to send kids into those camps. Not the 'camp' as you imagined.

Yes, when she said "love you" to her mother, to be honest, I was still a little surprised, because in our Chinese culture, people are usually more shy and don't usually say things like "I love you" directly. Instead, they believe that actions speak louder than words. For example, helping your mother with housework as a child is a way of showing love for your mother. Maybe times have really changed and people's concepts have changed. However, this also shows that she lives in a loving family. Congratulations to her.

Summer camps in China are just awesome. I ran two summer rugby camps for kids 6-12 yrs of age. Parents sign up their kids for various reasons. Some of the reasons include losing weight, learn English, socializing and learn rugby. Also, many parents dont have time to take care of kids at home during summer school holidays because they go to work so they send kids to pass time.

If your child is overweight, the problem is probably in the parents who feed the child. Kids can't eat McDonalds or KFC everyday unless the parents allow it. On top of that, kids often follow an example and choose the more tastier options if allowed to, so if the parents themselves aren't leading an healthy example and teaching their kids the importance of exercise and healthy food, the kids won't choose a healthier life style.

For kids this young, making them go through way too hard exercises would only teach them to not want to become soldiers in the future, one has to have far more mature standing point to comprehend both the requirements and tasks of a soldier. I totally agree with you, I myself ain't a gun owner, but I do a lot of airsoft. We have studied safety stuff and treat our replicas in a way just like how real gun owners will. I have researched quite a bit into these camps and the outcome was that most of these instructors don't even have a bachelor's degree, and despite their military experiences, I still don't think they have enough knowledge about firearm safety, since many conscripts only shoot 2 mags in their entire service time. My biggest concern for these kids will be about child protection as well because as a Chinese person living abroad, I am quite aware of the actions of Chinese parents and instructors, plus these instructors aren't really trained teachers or certified outdoor instructors.

Because of constant western propaganda. The imperialist West fears that Chinese economy overtakes the West, and then the West loses it's ability to be the dictator of the global east and global south. The US government and CIA officially say so in their many documents on their government website. That's why they spread so many lies about China.

Lol I live in America, we are definitely not isolated. Just separating our economy with China. Because it's aggressive tones towards the annexation of Taiwan. The claim that they own the entire South chi a sea. Which they don't. Bullying Filipinos in their own water space. China's becoming more like old communist China than a new democratic one. We only brought China up and shared all our trading secrets because we thought China would be a democratic ally. Instead they proved us wrong by hacking stealing business and government files. Replicating our business model to cut competition. Apparently because China could not come up with their own economy organically they had to steal than copy ours. But that's ok because we are slowly cutting ties with china's economy. They can go do their failing belt and road projects. Keep working on their useless brics economy and keep trying to expand their borders. And claiming land and sea that isn't theirs. Reminds me of WW3
