Hi Mike , Wifi Calling and VoLTE is working on Vivos , Oppos phones without any work around . In case is not supported there is a work around with the help of two apps Shizuku and Pixel IMS .

Was going to say the same thing. No issues on my Vivo X Fold 3 Pro (OriginOS) with WiFi/VoLTE calling. They were both enabled the moment I put SIM in. But my Honor Magic v3 I did have to use the Pixel IMS trick and that is the Global phone version. Same with my Sony Xperia 1 V last year and that was the US version (needed the IMS trick). Strange, but usually something can be worked out.

I know you said you've been very busy recently, but can you please make a video regarding Android Auto and CN roms please? I've always been told it's not a possibility with my X90 Pro+, all XDA forums say it will never work. I'd love to see that is not the case and I'd definitely consider an adapter if you show a video of it working. It seems any video showing an adapter isn't using a CN rom. I have a Vivo X Fold 3 from Average Dad and I only had so far a few limitations. Google Pay works for me but only some banking cards can be added. Lloyds and Starling and couldn't add - Monzo, Pulse, Marbles all work fine. I also have my Galaxy 6 Classic watch connected with no issues at all. Android Auto is so not working. I need to try these adapter to see if that works. Apart from the issues above everything else works like a dream

I am on Vivo fold 3 pro, worked out that it doesn't do quick share with other android/PC. Only Vivo share. Also, GPS signal is weak in Australia. Otherwise I am happy.

I use Find X7 Ultra since January, everything works perfectly fine, nothing is missing for me. Gpay, Google wallet, NFC and Banking works perfectly, except the Bank app won't let me set up fingerptring unlock for some "security" reason. I don't use Android Auto, Google Assistant, I don't care the device isn't in my native language. 5G works fine in Poland, but I had issues with the connection, LTE and 5G in Sicily, and I've seen people on facebook group complaining about the signal in Italy.

Circle to search is already implemented as a vivo function. Well not the Google one, but similar. Tap on hold the screen with two fingers and you get text recognition, translation, ... of the current screen

Yeah bro you can... plzz go for vivo x fold 3 pro ....as its more beautiful looking decent phone....designed for business men and enterpenures ....more over fold is no far behind than VIVO X100 ULTRA ...the only thing is it you can't shoot 4k from front cameras... but this has a best solution that you can use your rear cameras for that.... If you choose vivo x fold 3 pro ....l'll recommend you to go for *white color*... It looks more elegant and camera design is more prominent as compared to all black....and if you dont want any chinese bloatware.... Go For INDONESIAN variant...as it is available in white color also.... If you go for indian variant its available in only black ....which i don't like.... I depends on your personal preference.....but i like funtouch OS as its clean...no chinese bloatware ❤

Never quite understood people's fixation with the android auto feature missing from Chinese roms. I'm an iPhone user for work purposes and a soon vivo ultra owner for picture quality and even if my car has wireless carplay and all those features, I never connect my phones to that. Instead I bought 2 years ago an android box that connects to the car USB port and everything looks like built in. I get my phone calls normally thru car's Bluetooth, but everything else goes via this tiny box. Navigation, social media, media streaming (yes it has KZbin not only KZbin music like the default carplay experience), etc. Mike should do a review on that👍

There are few AI box available which are different to regular adapters. Brands like Carlinkit and ottocast which can replace wired connections to wireless but it doesn’t say if it supports Chinese rom phones. I am keen to know if they work or not as well.

A little bit yes and a little bit no. From a fresh reset and link in WearOS app no. But you may be able to get it connected if you have a non China device to set it up on first and then transfer. I managed to get my Pixel watch connected to Mix Fold 4 today and getting notifications and can take calls. Took nearly 2 days of trying to crack the process, and may not work for Galaxy watch. WearOS and Pixel watch app show as connected, but can't apply any settings to the watch from it, can only configure settings on the watch itself is something else to be aware of

Happy Friday All, I bought AAWireless adapter and have tried many times but still Magic V2 is throwing out communication error 22. It will not work unless the Android Auto is installed on the phone as system app which we can't install/uninstall like normal apps. FYI.. We can manually install Android Auto and it turns out in connection setting, but still that was user app, not system app. Error 22 still persist. Thanks

I agree with the above. There is 0% chance that any China Rom will work without unlocking the bootloader and installing some extra modules.

Google Authenticator works fine for me on Xiaomi device. Can't see why Microsoft wouldn't too. Would only be wary of Huawei devices due to the non built in Google services

Mine experience from chinese rom is bad, i had a huawei nova 9pro 4g direct from chinese shop and when it comes didnt connect easy to my carrier with many problems cause worked only B1-B3 but not B20 and for my dissapointed the phone now is usless and go to the box and the other thing i didnt like that the phone after 1 month had issues with battery drain the life of the battery is 89% in 4 months from the day i bought it .I live in Greece and now decide to sell it but is usless for anyone have new sim card .Very bad buy for me!
