One thing I have noticed is how quickly the new types of weaponry and equipment is introduced. The Y-20 in the PLA Airforce numbered a handful a few years ago, now I've seen figures of 80+, the same goes for the J-20, a few dozen just a few years ago, now between 200-250. Not just these 2 particular aircraft, but ships, armoured vehicles, helicopters, etc are all being issued in significant numbers in a short period of time.

Yours is the only channel that has a meaningful coverage of elements of PLA, such as Air Force airborne corps, or Ground Force aviation capabilities, I used to look for this information desperately for long and until now did not find it anywhere else other than in your channel

They appear much, much better equipped than we are in Australia.
@apothecarymaybe3402
@apothecarymaybe3402 Жыл бұрын
That’s because they have been preparing for war for the past decade and more, we haven’t. The West will always try the diplomatic way first, as we have seen in previous world wars. We draw a line in the sand, and once that line is crossed, the West normally retaliates. China also has the capital and home industry to support such a large, well equiped military, we don’t. Australia wastes billions of dollars a year on welfare payments, the stupid amount of politicians we have and the indigenous community. That money could be much better spent on local industry that supports our defence force. But once again we are just playing catch up and running late to a bus that left a long time ago.
@MrCastodian
@MrCastodian Жыл бұрын
Have they? Or have they prepared for peace and defence? China have not been in wars since 1979, Australia have been in several wars, Gulf War, Afghanistan, Iraq invasion, Syrian civil war and Libya to if I remember correct, and the fact that Australia spend more on their military of their gdp then China would indicate that it’s Australia that prepare for war… And will west always try diplomacy? If that is the case, why do they bomb so many, why do what you do?? And sure, you pay people’s welfare, on the other hand, so do China, but way way more.

Hi, can you provide some of the sources you used to put this together? I’d love to dig into those. I’m really looking to see how you were able to deduce that a mech infantry company has 22 ZBD03s. Awesome vid!
@Strategy_Analysis
@Strategy_Analysis 6 ай бұрын
Thanks. Most of the sources are from the Chinese internet. As for that possible structure, that is based on a possible 9 strong infantry section, which would need 2 vehicles to transport it.

Hello everyone! can someone explain or reference chinese or russian paratrooper combat equipment on their parachute harness? I see US paratroopers conduct their airborne operatoins with their ruck sacks and weapons cases, but have never cought a glimpse of Russian / Chinese troopers doing the same.

0:57 is russia airborne forces also part of the army? i thought it was an independent unit like the usmc
@Strategy_Analysis
@Strategy_Analysis 4 ай бұрын
The VDV are an independent service, not part of the Army. The PLA airborne troops are part of the Air Force, and the U.S. airborne are part of the Army. Technically, the USMC is part of the Navy.

Why airborne force not use Self-Propelled Howitzer?
@Strategy_Analysis
@Strategy_Analysis Жыл бұрын
Basically because of the weight. Airborne forces need to be reasonably light, and if being parachuted into combat, don't want large vehicles taking up space in the plane.
@Jfiejdjdjb
@Jfiejdjdjb Жыл бұрын
It’s already hard enough to jump out of planes with all the equipment and some light armoires vehicles… imagine lugging a howitzer with them 💀💀💀. Plus paratroopers are built to be stealthy and fast, typically avoiding unnecessary gunfights and going straight to complete their mission
@Strategy_Analysis
@Strategy_Analysis Жыл бұрын
@@Jfiejdjdjb But, all units need direct and indirect fire support. The 122mm gun is ideal for that in that it is on a 360-rotating base, and can be towed by a light vehicle.

PH-63 use hamas?
@minhhuytruong8667
@minhhuytruong8667 10 ай бұрын
PH-63 is the AK of MLRSs, it is cheap, easy to use, and available in huge quantities thanks to it being widely exported/reverse-engineered so the weapon appearing in Hamas hands is understandable.

WHAT'S YOUR OPINION ABOUT,china using there air born forces in the arch of instability or new Guinea/Solomon islands to our north,or your opinion on Australia establishing a national guard or marine corps independent from adf structure or should we in Australia make all young men an women do national service straight out of high school give them one year off out of high school then present to a recruitment centre an do 2 years training then 4 to 6 years contract service in a national guard or marine corps giving Australia a large trained man power pool of reserves to defend the north

@@donderstorm1845 it not about what the public wants,its about what the government says or does,the adf is extremely under funded and manned, China has seen how America used Australia as a logistics hub for an armed push north through new Guinea and solomons in ww2 so a pre emptive strike on Australia cant be ruled out,if America intervenes in Taiwan, China is trying to build bases from Timor to new Guinea to the Solomon islands To stop America using us as a force projection area Nothing can be ruled out in a time of war ,the Australian government an defence planners, stick to old outdated thought patterns it will haunt us badly An cost us badly in the future
