You would have absolutely no idea if you saw her. For instance. Look at Gal Gadot.... She was a Krav Mega instructor in the Israeli army. That girl is HIGHLY capable of protecting herself if she needed to. For anyone who doesn't know what Krav Mega is.... Check it out. I've done it also and it is massively effective. So... Looks are extremely deceiving. If I ever needed a personal Bodyguard I would chose a female... Element of surprise against a would be attacker is vital. A female can offer this much more than a guy

If I was rich and need a body guard I would want these women by my side. Especially in western culture! There's this thing called the dome of domesticity where women are reduced down to two things: nurtures and sex kittens. An attacker wouldn't be on guard seeing her, they'd honestly make a joke of her just for being a girl. Then just like the husband in the story, they would be within inches of their life. These girls are awesome!

Well if i could have a choice, having a female bodyguard is actually quite smart. Here in the west and pretty much worldwide, women are automaticly regarded as a non-threat. I suppose this is also pointed out in the video, but it really is a good point. @Cuhhnelo You have any actual evidence to prove that statement? Because it sounds very much like a prejudiced emotion-based assumption, as if you're expecting to break a nail and instantly start weeping. China only truly ran as a socialist country during the life of mao, but socialism takes more than one man's lifetime to implement and maintain. Russia and America are capitalists and imperialists too. kind of sad these 3 very similar countries are also the most powerful & the leading countries of the world. all of them Constantly bombing, annexing, terrorizing poorer countries, and tightening control on their vulnurable neighboring countries. The wooden sword if for training the individual to be comfortable with swinging an object of that weight in a proper and efficient manner. It's not safe to train with sharpened blades when someone is new to the art.

+EnthrallingBass 140 "..Ist not safe to train with sharpened blades when someone is ne w to the art..." What do you mean, when they feel more comfortable they will attack each other with real swords? What they are doing is japanese swordfighting and in Japan nobody who can rub two braincells together will "train" with real swords against his/her trainingpartner. With a real sword you do only Tameshigiri=cutting tests/skills against a dummy. Ask a firearms instructor if you can train with real ammunition against HIM to improve your skills.

I've worked on various assignments in several high-risk countries during the past 27 years, where we often had to use highly trained bodyguards to ensure safety of our staff and operations. I've personally been subject to assault (including firearms) few times and have thankfully been protected by bodyguards. Hence, I learned many things about that line of work. I noticed on this video, that the Chinese bodyguards do many things in wrong ways, which will definitely put their clients and themselves in harm's way. Many of these Chinese bodyguards may scare away street thugs and unskilled offenders, but they seriously lack situational awareness skills, which will easily get them neutralized by professional attackers. You have to see really skilled bodyguards trained by French Foreign Legion, US armed forces, Iranian armed forces, Israeli armed forces, and alike - then, you'll be impressed.

that's what i somehow thought aswell. I am simply an officer of the german armed forces. i thought the whole time, that all their choreographies might look cool but it would be achievable to attack and overcome them.

For al the comments in here.... I do agree that women know squat about and every woman in the world will get beat down by a normal man any day, excusing certain individuals.... but you have to understand that being a bodyguard is much more than having force and power. Leaving out the techinques, security measures and through experience and knowledge it need to properly secure someone, Being a female bodyguard is an element of surprise. Remember that you are not there to fight someone in a streetfight, you are there to protect your target and i can very much see a lot of these women deflecting incoming shit can do. Tl,DR: This women would get beat down anytime but i doubt they are far from useless when it comes to secure someone.

I also think having a female bodyguard is a good form of comfort, because with normal male ones, they have to maintain a level of privacy with their female clients. But with girls, there's no level of discomfort coming from female clients. Not only are they just as strong, they're less obvious to an attacker's eye. With men, they have to show a strong appearance, as such, no surprises.

@Warp25678 жыл бұрын
Male bodyguards have advantages too. They can single-handedly stop a confrontation from happening through intimidation. As long as they look threatening, the attacker will think twice before doing anything. If the client is injured the male bodyguard can pick them up easily and carry them to safety. Female bodyguards have a harder time picking up the person they are protecting because they have less upper-body strength. Male bodyguards are also better at protecting male clients because they have access to the men's restrooms. Same thing with female bodyguards to female clients. But my point is that male and female bodyguards have their own advantages, so one is not better than the other.

1:45 look at the way they box. Absolutely no head movement. In Muay Thai we were always taught to keep the head moving every time we throw a punch to make it harder to counter. Watching old footage of Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson confirmed that. Now look at the Chinese heads. They don't even move an inch. You could slip it and throw a counter without even looking because the head is in the same place as it was five seconds ago. *2/10 "Would not hire."
@teddygrande55649 жыл бұрын
no1ymfan1 In Taekwondo we don't move our heads. We don't move our heads in karate either, but they are very stiff and shouldn't be so flatfooted either.
@Haeppy9 жыл бұрын
no1ymfan1 They may also still be trainees. Also, in terms of combat sport martial arts, everyone is trained in terms of squaring off against another sportsman. They aren't learning to compete. They're learning to get in and stab someone with a pen. They're learning to break or maim before it even gets the point where someone is thinking about countering. Also, the VAST majority of people who they WILL face will NOT be trained in martial arts. Why? Because if you have the time and money to be spending on hours and hours of learning martial arts, you're probably also not the type of person to go rob or attack multi-millionaires. You have too much to lose to do something like that, not to mention every single martial arts self-defense group I know is adamant about non-aggression as being part of their teachings.
@tornut249 жыл бұрын
Teddy Grande Yeah I mentioned the flat footedness in another comment, in case you didn't see it. But that's interesting about Taekwondo and Karate. Is there any specific reason you don't move your head in those disciplines?
@tornut249 жыл бұрын
CuzImHaeppy I see what you mean, and I agree with your points. But I just think if you're going to teach someone to throw punches, you should at least do it correctly anyway. Just because your opponent isn't as skilled as you are doesn't mean you shouldn't practice good habits. Think of "The Tortoise and the Hare." Just because you're faster than your opponent doesn't mean you can afford to take a break.
@teddygrande55649 жыл бұрын
I don't think their's any reason, I believe instead of moving our heads we make up for it by bouncing around on the balls of our feet instead.
