My 100% honest view on the world right now is that humanity will not last another 50 years. Any day we could be thrown into nuclear war as the US is putting its knife to the throat of other nuclear powers on at least 2 major fronts (Ukraine and Taiwan/South China sea). Climate change is a ticking time bomb because once we go over a certain greenhouse gas limit (400 parts per million?) it's impossible to go back as a result of phenomenon like the ocean current system which helps to move heat and cold around the world. That system could be stopped if the ocean heats up too much. Or the melting of billions of tons of peat that is currently locked frozen in the North Pole; once that thaws and starts to release it's greenhouse methane it cannot be stopped. We have Al General Intelligence which we will get one day soon as US and Chinese companies race unhinged towards greater and greater Al. Once Al has autonomy it's literally a 50/50 crapshoot on whether or not it sees humanity as good, evil or just "in the way". And finally we have quantum-based weapons that have recently been found out about by the general public which I'll maybe discuss one day

Same thing in Singapore where new PRCs stayers are taking over local hawker stalls and passing themselves off as the real deal and yes in recent months Singapore had outbreaks of food poisoning from schools to camps and we are not surprised if the food contractors were actually from China or India. Skipped one laksa stall immediately just this afternoon when the cooks started blabbering in PRC Mandarin.

I completely understand, I'm very weary of trying Chinese food from different shops in my country, so whenever I see someone eating from a certain Chinese place and didn't receive any food poisoning, I decide that I'll eat from that place too!

@@tangt4860Time to leave Singapore too. It is fast becoming the "new China".

@@isaacchai5660 very true, many of the new citizens PRs PRCs have influenced and corrupted the PAP.

dont even live in china but this is super interesting, how does china manage to pass so many dangerous toxins or additives in food? its like america and its disgustingly poor management of the food industry. im guessing its also upsetting to see a culturally significant food be corrupted like this for profit at the cost of the consumers

I just bought some last week, but I bought them in Taiwan. I made sure they were not made in China.

Scary times ….when they can make counterfeit food using nonchina popular brands esp Japanese Korean, most of us can’t read ingredients.

why just not make them yourself or buying from locals?

@@pixazelz I buy all of my products from Taiwan every time I visit. So I do buy locally ( Taiwan).
