oh, you mean like US Gov wants to do ... no ALREADY STARTED DOING in USA? Been through any airport lately? (even if not travelling), been to any govt department?, police station, court house, enrolled in any Uni, signed up for a credit card or bank account... and it's moving out rapidly to shopping centres. A lot of it is OOS but it's there. At least China is honest in announcing that they are doing it - and THAT is the ONLY difference.

Chinese are the innovators of most high tech equipment to promote economic development as well as safety and security. New development like cashless transaction, online trading, robotic manufacturing and traffic control, delivery. Westerners are generally not used to see things changing so fast, their lethargic lifestyle just cannot cope with such changes, so lots of hot air complaining, until they are forced to follow suit with no choice.
