t’s no secret that Taiwan wanted to take back the mainland until the late 1970s. On the other hand, the mainland has been preparing to unify all of China, including Taiwan, from the beginning. If Taiwan's goal is independence, and Taiwan would rather die than live together with the mainland in one country, then Taiwan needs to achieve its goals through negotiation or war. If you cannot afford an expensive car, you can buy a cheap car; but you cannot choose Taiwan independence just because you cannot regain China. It doesn't work this way. The people of Taiwan are smart, but they are not rational when it comes to deciding Taiwan's future.

Maybe it's time for the world to find peaceful means, processes and regulations that govern how sovereign states borders can be redrawn, without needing to resort to war. For thousands of years, civilizations had redrawn borders as governments came and went. Why must borders now suddenly become immovable and permanent, just because we're in "the modern age"? Maybe it's a necessity for civilization to be able to adapt and evolve. It should be possible through negotiations, without violence. That would resolve a lot of regional problems, in a lot of places.

Now i can't go to Taiwan, need visa, but when China liberate it, i can go to Taiwan under free visa travel to China. With Serbian passport i have free visa to to visit China 30 days.
