According to Thailand statics they expect or forecast that more than 22 millions Chinese tourists to Thailand this year, 2024. Thailand will be laughing all the way to the bank !! China can make tons of money if it makes tourism easier. However, it has to solve the payment issues for foreign visitors as China has become a cashless society ahead of the world.

China should come up with something like a top up cash card and can use for all merchandise stores, restaurants, hotels, transportation, etc.... for tourists. Foreigner can buy the card from Airports or any borders entering China. The top up cash card tourists can top up at any ATM with card or credit cards when the card run low with money.
