Great video!!! I had a band called the detonators from LA back in the day. I first met fat Mike when our two bands (and many others) would play at various venues on open mic nights because that was the only places we could rehearse at. I ran into him in Eugene, Oregon outside of the Mac Donald theater around 2012, and I almost was able to see him in Blackpool England at rebellion, when I was on tour with DOA. Say hi for me. Keep up the great work.

I spoke to Pete Jesperson of Minneapolis' Twin Tone records and producer of the Replacements in their early years - he said Mike or "those guys" contacted him about goods from his former company...but it sounded like maybe he didn't follow through. I told Tommy Stinson about all this and he said he heard of the Punk Rock Museum, he stated well they weren't really punk rock. But hell early on they were for sure and quit a mark on alt-rock music, and Slim Jim Phantom gave tours and he's rockabilly. Gotta hit those guys up again.

@@user-xr2lv4ll6j i mean... what are we even talking about here!?!? If you ask me, The Dead Boys are the first REAL PUNK ROCK BAND. The Ramones were more like greaser Sha Na Na type thing. Stiv and Cheetah laid the blueprint for all that followed. And the fact that Cheetah LIVES IN LAS VEGAS NOW makes this even more of a travesty. I should ask him to donate the Cheetah Print Heavily modded SG that I routed for mini hums in the neck and bridge and big fat P90 in the bridge with fancy stacked knob pot for the minis. I will never go there. #2 "Fat Mike " , who has made a career of being a grown ass man who sings like a teenager, and foisted some of the worst purportedly "punk" music on the world, has now single handedly absolutely killed the genre for real, and for good. We didn't need a museum. Now it's just a mausoleum. Thanks, Mike! count your punk money!
