Man, being called Chino was the worst and traumatizing growing up in the 90's. I had a lot Mexican friends and they would still call me Chino. It was a trigger word like calling a black person the N word if you weren't black. But all that stuff is now the past. Asians and Hispanics have so much in common as well, especially when it comes to family, hard work and of course the food culture. We're all one people learning to live peacefully together in the same neighborhood. All love.

Green light explained: This is how it was explained to me. Long Beach ABZ,TRG,Insanes,&Rollin 20's clicked up to ride against Longos. Greenlight issued. 1993 ended in 2002 approximately. Black/asians in prison clicked up. ABZ became crips and OB became bloods in South LA. Van Nuys Side also put in major work. But also a gang of Asians doing the godam thing which may have contributed - ftm, olb, ob, bd, tgp, bng, sts, tcs, abz, abs, pr, rpb, lvm, ub, lgkk, kp, cbs, vboys, hellside, etc. I recall in 1999 a Southsider made fun of an Asian saying your greenlighters. The asian guy asked him, do you know why were greenlighters? The southsider didn't even know why. The rumor was because they were putting in major work. Hoodstocks should have a southsider on to clear the air about that. Dang man, Johny Chang and Lucky are going to Unite Asians/Blacks/Hispanics. Wouldn't that be crazy. Because of Lucky being hispanic & Johny being Asian, their podcast unites Asians/Hispanics/Blacks in Prison, which would carry out to the streets. Johny Chang creates racial unity. That would be his calling. That would be crazy. Seems like thats whats happening.

Unite us against who? Whitey? Muslims? Don't forget most Asian Gangs like a big Armenian Gang and Salvadorian Gang started as Protection Groups to Protect Our People's/ Neighborhoods from Racists who attacked us for Our Skin Color/ How We Looked/ Stereotypes and most the Attackers coincidentally were Democrat Voters.

@@josephgee2515 Key word " put us together" ( Blacks/Asians). That's why I recall in 2004 a black crip dood was in the 818, at an asian gangster kickback, because he was locked up with the Asian homey in State Prison. That's how the blacks/asians gangs became cool, it was from prison. I recall in 1998 some black dood i worked with from compton crips telling me he was locked up with AB, they cool peeps.

@@josephgee2515 Maybe one day all gangs can just unite & all races just peacefully co-exist in prison & on the street. Maybe one day there won't be a 2 second take off rule. Maybe drop the guns pick up the gloves on the outside if theres beef. That's just wishful thinking. But alof of the OG Surs on hoodstocks, and you have asians speaking about their experiences, etc.. It gives hispanic/asian gangs a better understanding of eachothers struggles and that were all not too different. It's 2023. Anything is possible. Chinamac, Johny, and Lucky are doing good things in the world. When they say god has calling for everyone, i believe it now. I believe this is their calling. And i know it hurts Johny to see Chinamac's relationship with his father. I know Johny is praying for Chinamac.

@@thinkbetter49ers people can change their lives even when people around them choose not to. everyone has a mind of their own this is just him running through what he USED to do which is a part of Johnny's story & testimony which I think is still valid. Also I understand your anger in those specific situations, but generalizing is crazy. acting like our whole race is doing that is insane. not once in this video did I hear them say any slurs or anything bad about any other race but you came out of the blue to assume that they do the things you've mentioned. You gotta admit it's wrong to bring that up when clearly, that's not what this video is about. It is a bit negative when you are trying to diminish someone's story by bringing up something that didnt even happen in the video other than the conversation about being in a gang . I understand the anger, but it should be directed at people who are actually doing things you've mentioned. other people in the comments are uniting and trying to understand one another I think that's more productive than acting like we should be enemies
