Thanks. I had my unit professionally installed but I couldn't operate the climate control ysing the touch screen. After watching this video I checked behind my unit to see the 2 wires that needed to be plugged in. Now it works perfectly. Thanks again.

Really cool of you to make these videos! Thank you! Do you have one that explains how to customize what items are on the home screen? Almost nothing on my homescreen is useful to me. Also do you know if there's a way to make it open CarPlay (ZLINK) on startup? I have to manually open it each time and it takes a while to engage with the phone once it's open. Trying to save a step by having it do that automatically and also add the ZLINK icon to the homepage so it takes less clicks to get it open if I can't get it to auto-launch on startup.

@6:08 you don't need the steering wheel interface these android units have SWI programmed in already. You just have to match up the wiring. However, they don't include this info in the instructions or even indicate the correct wires. I did it by trial and error on my head unit, which is the exact same hardware as yours, just from a different brand. The physical button screen @6:44 is what I'm talking about. From there it will detect the buttons on its own. You just have to work out the wiring.

@@Marc-ku7bk Unfortunately no. The problem is some of these units have different wiring colors by brand and each vehicle has a different wiring setup as well. A telltale sign of which of the units wires run SWC is leftover wires with 'no uses'. Mine had two un-used orange wires, and one of those had to be grounded. The other I had to connect to SWC from the car. And that took some research to find.

I changed the highlight color of the settings settings, but by my mistake I changed the values of the screen color settings and I don't know what the settings were before. The names on the left hand side of the screen are the names of the Cambus box...find your Cambus name it's on the box and click on it. Then on the right hand side are the vehicle names, scroll down to find your vehicle. Click n follow the steps. Ps good luck its doing my head in

There is no brand to it, its just called Andriod 10.1 radio. If you want a branded unit get a xtrons, they are good.

Have a very similar or same unit in an 05 Accord. Worked fine for 4 months then AC compressor stopped coming on and vent controls no longer work. Switched back to factory headunit and AC and vent controls work fine. Switch back to this unit and still not working. Purchased on Amazon and quick review of comments show similar issues. Any suggestions?

Is this a new install? Have you always experienced this problem? If so make sure there inst a short somewhere, also ensure your power and ground connections are working well. If all this checks out, follow the reset procedure by pushing the reset button with a pin. If this still does not fix it I would suspect there is a fault with the OS or hardware.

On the weekend I put the factory unit back just to test and the window defrost worked worked perfectly. But when I installed the Android unit the window defrost doesn't work. First reset the radio. Using a small pin push the reset button and hold it for 5 secs or until the unit resets, the hole is located just above the 'power' button. If this fixes your issue, great! Second option = Try and re-calibrate the touch screen Touch the screen from home with 5 fingers. Long press the screen until the calibration screen is displayed. The unit you show is very similar to mine, even with same misspelled words. I was exploring on the factory setting page and must have made an error. Now the 5 buttons (power, home, return, vol up, vol down) left of the display screen don't work. Any idea how to recover the use of the 5 buttons external to the screen. Sounds like you locked the side buttons just like a phone. Go to settings as seen in tge video and do a factory reset.

Nothing can be really changed that I know off. Everything is in place for the system to work but it would be generally slow. Also depends on the model you bought from new.

My accord is right hand drive and when I open the drivers door it shows the left door opening on the screen, anyway I can swap it so it’s correct for mine? Also everytime I want to change my own pictures to a wallpaper it uses the standard theme app launcher and I can’t change the picture to my background

Unfortunately its not easy to change the door display as these units were designed for the us market. The theme should stay on. Does it save your radio stations etc?

I got the most expensive version with 8GB/128GB and it doesn't work. I have it hooked up in the house. KZbin, play store, maps, nothing works. @@AutoBuddynz that's the only thing I didn't do, reset it. I didn't do the software factory reset either because I didn't know the pin code. It will open apps and switch between them at normal speed but when I open Google maps, KZbin, play store or something else it just loads and never opens. I'm inside the house and the antennas are connected. My phone has a signal and the WiFi signal on the radio is good. It opens web pages but not the mentioned apps.

@@westsenkovec Try a reset otherwise check the specs of your delivered unit. It could be a low end one which was given instead of the Top tier one. I've seen the basic ones struggle to open google maps, connect to wifi etc.

I got it to play a video smoothly once but that was it. I'll try to move it closer to the window to get a better signal but I doubt that will solve it.

By mistake I can factory settings and my odometer language of my vw polo change to german how can I fix it

@@agreenwood Nope. My mic has never worked either. Maybe in the 50 "developer" menus there's some options but I haven't had time or the patience to fiddle with it. :(
