The Chinese people and the CCP learned too many painful lessons from the last 150 years (100 year of humiliation, cultural revolution etc), so now the CCP is more pragmatic in terms of delivering the standard of living for its own people. The CCP still remembers that 600 million people are still poor and need help and poverty alleviation is still the top priority. Can you say the same about the west care so much about their own poor population? Do they have a dedication department to help the poor? I don’t think too many people outside China can really understand why approximately 90% of the people approve the CCP (according to the pew research). You can question this number and say people are afraid to say they don’t like the government. China is not North Korea (you are not allowed to see the outside world and not allowed to leave). China is a “relatively” free country such that of you don’t like living in China, you are free move to the free country. China doesn’t stop people from leaving the country.

I am an oversea Chinese l too were proud of the CCP and the achievement they had done for my motherland. You know what, the resources of the country is the people managed by the Government by working with the people to build the country's then in return it gave back all the wealth of the nation back to the people and that's how China can achieve this remarkable results that many countries can just watch and only dream about.
It's a song of China, translate with Google translater: A big river with wide waves. The wind blows the fragrance of rice and flowers on both sides. My family lives on the shore. I'm used to the chant of Gong Gong. Used to see the white sails on the boat. A big river with wide waves. The wind blows the fragrance of rice and flowers on both sides. My family lives on the shore. I'm used to the chant of Gong Gong. Used to see the white sails on the boat. This is a beautiful motherland. Where i grew upIn this vast land. There are bright scenery everywhere. The girl is like a flower. How broad-minded the boy. In order to break new ground. Awakened the sleeping mountain. Changed the appearance of the river. This is the homeland of heroes. Where i grew upIn this ancient land. The power of youth is everywhere. Good mountain, good water, good place. All roads are wide. Friends here have good wineIf, the jackal comes Shotgun. This is a strong motherland. Where i grew upIn this warm land. There is peaceful sunshine everywhere.

CPC and Chinese gov have leadership, are competent and can correct themselves. in short 70 years, China developed from dirty poor, semi-colonized country to modern and the second largest economy and is still growing fast.
