@@svenjohnson2389 Yes the diesel heater that also incorporates a hot water heater is a very cool option. I may try one of these on the camper trailer conversion I will start soon. Have you tried one of these combo units Sven? Thank you for watching the video and also your input here. Have a great day

Explorer 867 I haven’t tried either one. I am currently RV-less, we sold our last one as is was a bit too small for our family of four. I hope to find a newer used unit and upgrade it for shoulder season camping so I have been scouring the internet for tips and ideas on what to do and how. So it’s people like you that are helping me! Thanks for posting the vids of your experiences!

Yes big price difference. I do hate to go Chinese on anything but all things considered price, amount of use, good reviews on the Chinese heater I decided to give it a try.

This was a fun build for sure. I was dubious about going with the Chinese version of these diesel heaters but after watching and reading many reviews I decided to purchase one and give it a try. I first bench tested this unit for a couple of days to ferret out any problems, found none so proceeded with the install. The heater is working very well and is a real upgrade to our heating in the camper canopy. Good to hear from you BluWave. Have a great weekend

This is so good! I've never heard of a Chinese diesel heater. So interesting and informative. We'd never be able to install as a DIY but would have you set it up lol. Great video :-)
@explorer8674 жыл бұрын
Hi Fern, These heaters are a very good alternative to using propane in my estimation and that of others as well. They use very little diesel ".02 ml for each Hz or stroke of the pump" and except when heater is first starting up and during the shutdown cycles uses 8-10 amps at those times. While running it uses only .7 - 3 amps depending on Hz setting on controller. Thanks for watching and leaving your comment. PS: I have the part 2 video about the install just released today.
