I am Chinese, but I can tell you that there is basically no food or delicious food in Beijing. Beijing does not have its own specialty food. The only famous dish is' Beijing Roast Duck '. Everything else is not delicious. If you want to eat delicious food, go to other provinces outside of Beijing. Not only do other provinces have a wide variety of delicious food, but each province also has its own unique cuisine, allowing you to taste authentic Chinese cuisine.

Each region in China has its own unique characteristics. You can go to Northeast China and try it out. For example, in Harbin, the style of food is bold. Try dishes like sweet and sour pork (guō bāo ròu), three delicacies from the earth (dì sān xiān), iron pot stew (tiě guō dùn), and spareribs in sauce. You can go to Northwest China and Xinjiang to taste various kinds of noodles and mutton. For example, Xi'an and Urumqi. You can go to Southwest China's Chengdu and Chongqing to taste spicy and numbing food. You can go to central regions such as Wuhan and Changsha to taste sanxian doupi (three delicacies rice crepe), hot dry noodles, stinky tofu, and various delicious stir-fried dishes. You can go to eastern regions such as Shanghai, Suzhou, and Hangzhou to experience the charm of the water towns south of the Yangtze River. You can go to southern regions such as Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Hainan. Guangdong's morning tea and beef hot pot are very famous. Guangdong cuisine is known for its excellent selection of ingredients and original flavors. Each province has its own characteristics. I'm afraid 30 days is not enough❤,have a good trip

This was one of the most entertaining videos about food touring. The tofu brain, fermented soy bean soup and the beef pie have been done on videos by Blondie in China, so I recognized it right away. I really enjoyed your tour guide. She was so knowledgeable and her English seemed top notch. The green cake is mung bean cake not matcha cake. Mung bean cakes are very popular in China. We only have red rice but no other colour rice. But intelligent people use vegetable juice to colour the rice or wheat flour and make food attractive and colourful. The fermented mung bean milk tastes stench but it's a legacy of local food culture of Beijing!

The 牛肉饼 is just like patty in America. Instead of using water., the cook use cooking oil (soy oil) to mix with wheat flour and make dough. So the wrapper or crust are flaky and oily and crispy!

It's interesting how different regions in China have their own take on tofu brain. In the north, people prefer it savoury, while in the south, it’s traditionally served sweet. Meanwhile, in places like Chengdu in the west, they enjoy it spicy. The debate over what the "real" tofu brain should be-savoury, sweet, or spicy-is a frequent topic on Chinese social media.
