This why I love the Asian culture because they have really cool & awesome stuff. Martial Arts is a style of respect honor and valor. It motivates you not only psychology & physically but also spiritually as well. Tai Chi is the yoga version of Gung Fu, etc. there are some people that misuse it and for the wrong reasons and some people use it for the right reasons. But its still great for the MIND, BODY, and SPIRIT, etc.

I do Taiji, and let me tell you, it is one of the best choices I've made in life to take Taiji class! It's really stress relieving from a tiring weekend. When I first started, my legs were shaking after all the meditation and I could hardly do warm-ups. But now, I feel better than before. It also boosted my confidence. I do recommend trying it out if you guys haven't tried it yet. And I'm sorry that this is really off topic. 😅

For the simple explanation is external martial arts is braking the shield and grabbing a 50 cal turret and go crazy but internal martial art is grabbing a sniper and finding holes in the shield and knowing when to shoot at the right moment and when I mean by shield is when the person is blocking or attacking.

Wow. . . . Guys that was a fantastic documentary! The quality was absolutely amazing, I think Wú Chéng'ēn would be very proud! :) As someone who has been practicing (and teaching) nèi jiā (xíng yì quán) for over ten years, I was very interested to see how a typically external form qī xīng tángláng quán could be modified to take certain things from the three main internal styles. Really enjoyed watching this! Thanks very much.

Off the Great Wall So glad you guys made this video! In Western culture, when Chinese Martial Arts is mentioned, everyone immediately thinks "oh yeah, I know, Kung Fu, Jackie Chan and stuff!" and then off they go making some utterly ridiculous sound they associate with Kung Fu (you know what I'm talking about). But little do they know about the seemingly "softer" forms of Chinese Martial Arts. As someone who grew up watching her father practise Tai Chi and Qigong, I really feel strongly about the need to introduce the foundations of Chinese Martial Arts to people in the West. It's not about throwing punches and flying kicks or whatever, it's about knowing yourself, your body, your mind, and utilizing the energy from within to keep the body strong and from which the "harder" forms can be built upon. Anyways... looking forward to the rest of the videos! :)

I really love it so much. It reminds me of my senpi at NJ, fun but strick in a good way. He came Koria and he understand the pressure of not be able to relax and everything. But he studied Takowndo so its not Kung Fu but he teach me to understand life and respect one another. But also to use our knowledge for defence, not to use for harm at all. I'm going to come to NJ/NYC once again towards the end of this month or benginning of June. It will be wonderful to see my senpi again 😁
