The documentary really picks up steam in its second chapter: we're really getting a feel for martial arts culture here. And the production values are excellent, as always.

I think it's important to know that modern day kungfu is entirely different from what it once was. When they mention that traditional kungfu is becoming more rare, it means the actual traditional kungfu is disappearing due to less people learning it. More people learn contemporary kungfu over the traditional now.

Awesome documentary!!! You guys did really well! As a practitioner of the Traditional Martial Arts, these videos pay homage to the fact that Traditional martial arts holds more value and concepts, than the brutal U.F.C./M.M.A.

This is awesome. Reminds me of my Wing Chun teacher. When I started practicing I was only allowed to stand in position and walk. I was a bit disappointed, because ofcourse I wanted to learn all the cool moves. It was only later that I really understood why. Its all about doing things over and over untill they become a habit and you do them naturally. In the end its not really about fighting or results, but more about making it your own.

I'm bisexual. I've been watching your videos for a long time and I was wondering if you guys can make a video about what it's like to be lgbt+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, ect.) in China, Japan, and Korea. I also want to now about how people in the lgbt+ were treated in ancient China, Japan, and Korea. Seeing that 1/9 of the world's population is part of the lgbt+(but not all are out). A lot of your fans must be lgbt+. I hope you guys make a video talking about this because I'm sure a lot of your fans will appreciate it, including me. I'm also gonna be one of the leaders at my school's gsa (gay straight alliance) club and if you guys make that video I'll make sure to show it at the club. I'm not gonna stop posting this comment until u guys make a video about it

I love this documentary....except that New Yorker's accent! Good God that is like scraping shards of glass against the insides of my auditory canal and piercing my ear drums! Is there a martial art form to cure my acoustics after enduring that?!?!?

Tai chi starting as "internal" is a misconception ( even in China). There are families that say it started as self defense with the self cultivation coming later.

William Digiacomo Seoul has bad air pollution too, especially in downtown area. If you are traveling to any city, always have a spare mask for your mouth so you won't inhale as much of the polluted air. ^^

those movement exersices are shit. not how is done. you dont move you only move realy slowly in the forest on tope of mountains inside total darkness, dust flying in the round (with dustmasks), and training the correct body areas. put needles on the internal of clothes to the muscle areas to be trained. but most of the movements for most of the time are practiced internally when the level is achieved only imagining the training
