Its the ape that was in the scarlet and violet books that was in the drawings. Its a ape design that does not exist in Paldea/area zero. I have heard people say its a Kong reference just as Iron Thorns is MechaGodzilla, Iron Jugulis is MechaKingGhidora, Iron Moth/Silther Wing is a Mothra reference. This new mythical can be the Kong of Skull Island to Area Zero. 🦍 Also T-Tar and Baxcalibur lines are Godziila references. Duraladon also is a Mechagodzilla reference too. They even have the mecha T-Tar from Black and White movie students as a background for the clubhouse room in Blueberry Academy im the futureristic design. So this gen has alot of Kaiju references in it.

Having a new movie mythical would make sense in all honesty. Or, even a mythical introduced in the anime. It does seem like they want to intertwine the anime and the games a bit when it comes to story telling and foreshadowing with how terapagos was handled, so excluding having a mythicals story told through that traditional method would be odd.

All those drawings are accurate representations of how they actually look. The only thing that doesn’t look like anything we’ve seen so far is the gorilla on the page. It could be slaking but I feel like they would make it more obvious if it was slaking.

Not sure if the DLC was hinting at the new 'mon, but Briar mentioned adding multiple ingredients to the orb at the top of the Terarium dome: Soil from Paldea, water from Kitakami, and crystals from the Area Zero Underdepths. With a heavy focus on alchemy since the Sun/Moon era, there could be something there.

If we think theres going to be more pokemon to come and have that unexplained gorilla photo floating about is there a chance we might just see variants of the bully trio? If you read the Munkidori dex entries "The chain is made from toxins that enhance capabilities. It stimulated munkidoris brain and caused the pokemons psychic powers to bloom" I'm guessing a gorilladori that doesn't have enchanced brain and psychic abilities (from the chains) and it will be a poison fighting or somthing... Would make for a good moive also trying to break the bully trio from the chains or maybe seeing how Pecharunt help them by giving them the chains, that way you see the alternative forms. idk but I think it makes sense to me

I have a theory that pecharunt is not what it originally is as a pokemon. Think about it, pecharunt is flawed in and of itself like maybe just like how it made the loyal three; it was made into itself. I think that the last pokemon is a “ world serpent “ it fits how terapagos is the world turtle. I think thats where the tree symbology fits as its rhe “ world tree “ for the “ world turtle “ ( terapagos ) and the world serpent ( unknown mon ). In addition, they had to get that “ terra fluid “ for the terrarium from somewhere. I believe that this is the venom of the serpent.
