The concept of “Freedom of navigation” is an international one, not just that of NATO. Having watched the video I failed to see the Royal Navy at any point try to hinder or prevent said freedom of navigation. Such actions are common in certain other nations such as flying jets very low overhead or sailing into the path of other nations vessels.

Aircraft carriers always have an escort. Submarines and other vessels are used. Aircraft carriers are too valuable to travel without an escort
