If there was an afb kansas on the west coast to store cold non perishables we'd probably find a way to organize a new green new deal...seattle maybe get some local organizers involved Idk navy food doesn't have the same ring any more.

The 7 jet is used for celebrity/news reporter flights. Clearly YOU don't know what you are talking about. P. S.the most dangerous maneuver is the diamond roll in the Yankee set!!

Guess you had limited footage for this one as most of the images are carriers, not the topic of the video.

As long as the captain doesn't roam the decks while rolling a couple of ball bearings between his or her fingers and mumbling something about missing strawberries, everything should be good.

Served on USS Wasp LHD 1 2000-03 and USS Whidbey Island LSD 41 1993-96. In addition to serving on USS Semmes DDG 18 1983-84, USS Cape Cod AD 43 1984-86, and USS Kinkaid DD 965 1987-89... I served with some very remarkable Captains and 2 not-so popular Captains. A C.O. has enormous responsibilities and a stressful job. The crew plays a part in their success or failure.

I was in the Army. I've eaten in USAF and USN facilities as well. The best food I had was when I was TDY at Norfolk Naval Station and I was lucky enough to eat there on Navy Day. Hats off to them! If you're gonna be at sea for months you at least deserve the best food.

Have watched the Blue Angels several times over the yrs during the annual Fleetweek in the Bay Area...Even had one of the jets fly right over the stage sideways at a show in Golden Gate Park i was at...So low you could see the pilot in the cockpit when he turned sideways....AND LOUD !!!!! Have also watched them a few times from Tightwad Hill on the Cal campus in Berkeley while at a Cal game...Makes for a good day on the hill there, Free game, Free Blue Angels show.....

I have seen all 3 shows (low, medium, and high) and they were all spectacular. I will watch them anytime and love seeing the precision. I was walking back to the hotel and one went sideways and flew over my head. Amazing

Check out the Blue Angels Movie just released (May 23) on Prime. It does a great job of capturing the intensity of the preparation and training for the pilots and crews. As a Pensacola resident I consider it an honor to be able to go to their Pensacola Beach show in July and on base and see the performance during their fall homecoming airshow! Thank you for your dedication and service, Blue Angel pilots and crews!

According to to rank on his collar and written on the plane, he was a Lieutenant, which is the same as a Captain in the Marine Corps or Army. Not a Lt. Commander.

As a young boy, at the age of 10 or 12, I watched the Blue Angels at Ellington Air Force Base (Now Ellington Field, new Houston). The air show inspired me as boy to join the military. I eventually wanted to become a pilot and astronaut. Unfortunately my family circumstances changed, I entered the Army, staying with aviation signing on to work on non fixed wing aircraft, helicopters. My focus changed as a young man, I started a family instead of pursuing a career as a pilot and astronaut. I have no regrets of any of my decisions. The Blue Angels inspired me as I am sure they have inspired many young men and women who make the cut and become some of our nation’s top aviators, astronauts, and other great careers. The risks they take are know to each pilot, each one knows every time they climb into the cockpit could be their last. They represent the best of US military aviation. Their skill, bravery, and dedication along with the risks and costs are worth every penny. They should continue to fly, inspiring future generations to be the Best at what ever they choose to become and do in life. They are more than just pilots performing dangerous flight maneuvers, they are pioneers, pushing the envelope of what human kind can do when the desire and fire is lit thru inspirational heroes like the Blue Angels! Go Angels!!

In the early 70's due to fuel cost the angles came to our squadron vt 21 in kingsville texas to determin if the A-4 was suitable for transitioning from the Phantom to do their show more economicaly. Every time they returned the aircraft had to be checked for over stressing due to excessive G Loads on the aircraft. The pilots didn't wear g suits. Im surprised these guys didn't need to wear tournikits all the time to keep enough blood in their brains because the size of their nads requiring buckets of blood. Fighte pilots are a different bread of individual. In a class of their own.
