Clearly, they need more automation. We can't find a mixing unit for the steam kettles? We can't have an automated system for making those rolls? Mixing that coleslaw?

I would suggest a firework display but perhaps that would start off WW3.

Holiday meals on Nimitz were alot of work but worth every bit of time we spent trying to make our crew happy....I started on Nimitz in Cargo getting breakouts to the galley everyday, then spent a great deal of my time in the bakeshop, I worked the chiefs mess, the officers galley and spent my last deployment in the aft galley preparing the bulk of the big meals.......what a job, 50 years later its a memory that will never leave me....have a great holidays Nimitz Crew and remember BOHICA

Oh please!!! Typical American, praising themselves. And really, now you need to have a military degree to serve dinner for 5000 people? Seeing the sloppy way those 'brilliant' cooks were chopping food, those people would most likely starve 🤣

If a state of the art British aircraft carrier can’t detect a submarine until it surfaces next to it then we are in trouble.

not all 5000 eat at once, there are personnel on watch, never was on an aircraft carrier, during my time, if i was on a carrier, they put the gunnery crew in the compartment next to the ram, and that thing runs 24/7. no thank you. i was in the Aligator navy and only dealt with helos, but was 3 decks down and never heard them land or taking off, except when i was on watch.

We no what capperbilerties we got that’s ready for the scrap yard.we’ve put up with class games for long enough we need to show our teeth or pack up and go home he’s seen how much he can get away with let’s get down to business if that’s what he wants or send a message to the Russian people to sort him out before he goes to far because we’re getting to the point where there’s going to be a newclear accident or something is going to be interpreted wrong and it will all go down and we don’t want that

Vlad needs to realise nobody wants to be waring with Russia if he wasn’t so shady we’d deal with him but he needs to sort his affairs out first.let’s have it right we ie the world loves the Russian people it’s just the way he goes about his business.if you do a deal with a country you don’t go back on it wether it’s done during your reign in power or not.come on carnt we all just get along especially seeing Ukraine is Russian people anyway it’s like he’s trying to cut his brothers throat wtf

All branches of service I thank them for their service wherever they may be. Keeping them healthy is a first priority while providing readiness at the same time to defend against threats is a huge task. A good meal, rest, downtime and other things are very good for morale and hopefully minimize stress being away from home 6 months or more. For me it would be very cool to visit an aircraft carrier but I am not in the service nor do I know anyone in the service. I salute to you all.

I think it is way past time to stop buying anything from China. If Australia, Japan, United Kingdom, America and anyone else that wanted to send a message to China. All it would take is about 3 or 4 months and China would be broke. ❤

My dad was in the Navy while I was growing up in the 70's and 80's. In (I think) 1980, I took part in the Navy's Tiger cruise from Hawaii to San Diego. While walking down the docks in Pearl Harbor on my way to the ship my dad served on (the Bainbridge IIRC, though I may be mistaken; he served on two destroyers during his tenure), I took a shortcut through an aircraft carrier. To say that it was cavernous does not do it justice. I felt a wave of vertigo as soon as I entered into the side of that monstrous space. It took my 10 year-old body an unexpectedly long time to walk to the other side. It was quite the experience. Speaking of experiences: about halfway through the trip, I was nearly washed off the bow of the destroyer as it took a surprise dip into the waves. I was washed across the bow and got tangled in the ropes, resulting in a man-overboard warning throughout the ship. My upper body was across the ropes looking down into the ocean, and my lower body was just barely hanging onto the ropes. It was awesome! The crew rescued me and wrapped me in warm towels. After I dried off and changed clothes, I went back onto the bow to enjoy watching the ocean ebb and flow and and down the bow. It was a different time back then, when kids could put themselves in harm's way and parents concluded that what didn't kill us just made us stronger. 😆
